Thats sometimes why I goof intentionally. So someone can go all language NAZI on me. Then I chuckle and point out the joke. This last was an actually OOPS moment though.

My hatred for Harry Potter endures, however going to see the movies has become a beloved holiday tradition for me and the wife. I'm hoping we can see it before we(in all probablility, her) go to California.

Sorry to go all language nazi on you ;-)
My boss frequently uses the phrase ‘for all intensive purposes’ rather than ‘for all intents and purposes’ – it drives me nuts ‘cos I’m not sure if I should point it out or not.
Oh, and I hate it when someone who’s point of view I mostly agree with comes across as a complete ass. Happens way too often in the political / religious threads.

Oh yes. This looks to be epic.

Personally I use saltwater (Try for dead sea type ratios of salt and water), A couple of cut up oranges, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and sometimes nutmeg. Medieval cooking at its finest. :)Freehold DM wrote:I'm curious about the brined turkey...what does that taste like?As Woody said, it depends on what you put into it. Alton's basic brine is veggie stock, brown sugar, allspice, candied ginger and peppercorns.
Well, the other thing that I should point out is that the taste being passed back and forth in the brine is more subtle with the amount you're putting into the published recipe. If you want more of the tastes to come through, you'd have to up the ratios for saturation. Also, I tend to go more towards the apple route (cider & such) in my brine.
D'oh! I forgot the key ingredient was salt when I listed it before!
lol. It happens. Cider would be good. Would go well with those spices. Still not keen on using stock. Don't like the flavor at all. And it really helps add to the flavor if all the nonliquid ingredients are stuffed into the turkey while it bakes.

Yeah. Is it bad that I've already watched the trailer five times? :)

This movie was not too bad.
The slow pace was nice, but I have to say I HATE shaky camera work with a passion rivaled only by Freehold DM's hatred of all things Whedon.
Also the way they panned up from the ground every time someone apparated looked very pathetic and contrived.
So lets hope they finish with a nice bang on the next half of the movie.
Wow I so do not want to see this movie now. The CGI looked too much like bad CGI especially the suit. Combine that with the bad acting in the freaking trailer I wont waste money on this craptacular film

I, too, am a Zoey Dechannel fan. Quirky, fun characters...and those eyes!
I could care less about Mr. McBride.

It is not bad. I just hope that the trailer does not show all of the good parts of the movie.
There're too many promising elements there, and I'm afraid it's just getting my hopes up.
I'll still be going to see it, though. It reminds me of a good session of gaming...swords & sorcery, with lots of side jokes and innuendo!

I should hate you for making me Google that, Badger. I have no idea why I actually chose to watch all of the clip posted on the Comedy Central web page. That's AWFUL!
