solnes, congrats to you and kellen. Also happy birthday. There might be another hiatus in my posting for the next couple of days but that is because central Iowa has been hit hard with rain and most of the area is flooding, for those who know about Iowa state or a little about it, Hilton Colosseum has 8-10' of water on the inside and the campus is nearly flooded. According to some this is the worst flood since 1993.
2nd Floor Apartment FTW.

Bitter Thorn: Sorry to hear about Max. I hope he improves enough that you can postpone it for a bit longer.
Solnes: Happy birthday and congrats on the 'A'. And double congrats to Kellen -- whoo hoo!
Woody: +1 on sorry about the flooding, but glad you are ok. If it makes you feel better, we're in hurricane season and it sounds like you've already prepared yourself better than 75%-80% of the residents down here.

Lumpy, you live in hurricane country? Wait- you're a dragon! I thought you just raid those who prepared and take what you need.
Now I've got a mental image of a dragon perched on a roof playing "bobbing for cows" in the floodwaters.

~LAUGHTER~ Thanks, now I too have that image in my mind.
~grins~ Yes, I am in the hurricane area. Savannah, GA has been hit before.

I feel so bad for Solnes, her birthday was such a disaster. Other than lunch at Salad Creations, her favorite lunch spot, nothing went right for her at all. She fell and bruised her ribs this morning, me and her had a fight, our daughter played demon queen from hell all day, everything that could go wrong did, and the A/C went out. She finally passed out from exhaustion around midnight, she never could get comfortable, the house just got down to 91 degrees and stayed around 98 for her entire night.
I declare Sunday to be her new birthday, she gets a do-over on this one folks, and I would appreciate if Sunday those of you drop in would wish her a Happy Birthday Do-Over. I want to give the special woman a special day. She puts up with me guys, you know she deserves it. :/

~smiles~ If I had the money and was not on call, I would drive up there to say happy birthday.

Belated happy birthday, Solnes!
I picked up my daughter and brought her to Charlotte yesterday. She's going to use the pool at the apartment while I sit in the shade, plus we will be doing whatever else she wants to do. I managed to work ahead, so I'll be able to take off work around noon.
I'm also working on my King of Monsters entry for KQ. If anyone wants to help with edits, I would appreciate it. Please don't read that as I expect someone to proofread it. :)
And one of these days my life will return to some sense of normalcy.

Sounds like a good time, enjoy the early day and try not to spoil her to much. We're just glad to have the LSoKA back among us. And never doubt that you do, my friend, kick ass.

Yikes! Sorry to hear about that.
You're right, though. She deserves a do over. Now my birthday wish was early. :)

Goooooooooooooooooooooooood Morning FAWLTY HOUSE!!!!!
First full day with a functioning computer. Unfortunately, it's the first FULL day with a functioning computer- I work from 8:30 to 6:30 today. No fun. I leave a few hours early tomorrow, but that's not exactly going to help me today. Here's hoping my lunch break has some dancing girls or giant robots or a portal to Golarion or something...
Taig, I just left Charlotte a few days ago. If I could have, I would have altered my vacation plans- I know we haven't met or anything, but I know you could use the company or at least an extra pair of hands.

Morning, all. What did I miss?
Well Arolys and Rowyn, along with Arolys' slave companion/bodyguard Mikli were traveling to the Stolen Lands to map the region. Along the way they met the dwarfen cleric of Desna Gindreth, or Ginny for short. Arolys set her sights on bedding the gorgeous frawl and said as much, the girls invited the gorgeous frawl to join them, partly because the elf was taken by the curves of her body and anticipated what might develop with her. Upon arriving at the trading post they found themselves embroiled in a battle against.... oh wait, that's our Kingmaker game.

How about a giant robot that takes you to a portal to a Golarion bawdy house?

It would have been nice to meet you. Maybe you can make it out to MB or PaizoCon. My daughter also wants to go to a major con, so I might splurge on GenCon next year.

AGH!! That's awful.
+1 for the birthday do over. And people laughed at me when I said I wanted to build a time machine!

I had a dream that I visited my mom at the nursing home. I don't remember any of the details.
I also had a dream I was at my old job, and it was one of the most mundane dreams I've ever had. A friend of mine microwaved his lunch, sat at his desk, and told a coworker he could go home, since the guy was really sick.
Weird.

ACTUALLY....
One of these gamer girls has family in Georgia, and MB is a family vacation spot, I think. It MIGHT be possible to work something out, but it's an outside chance.
[EDIT}WOOT! Naked gamer girl event planning for TOP!
