I'm Back... From Outer Space

OK, not really but in terms of how long I've been gone I may as well have been. In light of growing frustrations with LFR and my desire to once again be part of a well run campaign I thought I'd come back to where I might be known and know I'll be loved...I think. For those who don't know, I DMed both PFS and LFR at their mutual debut conventions and...really haven't done much with PFS since much to my dismay. I want to get back in the fold and get Calladavar back up to speed. While I can get back into my gnomeyness real easy, there's a couple of things I'd like to ask to assure I'm fully back in the loop.

1) Are there any groups in the Tidewater and/or Richmond, VA area that are looking for more gnomeyness...or at least another player :). Yes DC folks, I know you're up there and on your list...you just haven't had low tier game on a day I could drive up there in...awhile :).

2) I know I could dig through a ton of message boards and rules documents and not get a clear answer, so I thought I'd ask these directly.

a. Online play? Legal or no and if yes what if any conditions are there?
b. I have a few of the early season 0 mods in various places in print or on my hard drive. Those still playable? Are there official conversions or do we have to convert them ourselves?

3) Is the cake a lie?

Not idea, sorry. I am out in the Las Vegas area.

Legal, yes. Chronicle sheets still need to be signed by the DM, though.

Many are, but some have been retired, 5 at last count. There is a list of the retired modules, along with any new ones added in one of the sticky threads above. I believe any further retirement announcements are being delayed until after GenCon, so 5 is it for now.

No official conversions yet for the ones not retiring, so roll your own, although you are better served, for now, staying with the 3.5 monsters than the Pathfinder monsters, as the latter can ramp up certain scenarios more than they should be.

Michael,

Hello, my name is William Sinclair, and along with Darius Silverbolt (his messageboard moniker), I run the PFS in Hampton Roads. We meet every Wednesday, 6 PM, at Atlantis 3 at Ward's Corner in Norfolk, VA.

We have a decent sized group of players, and are always willing to bring more in, so if you are interested, come on by. We'll be there this Wednesday. In fact, I have a new GM who is looking to run Master of the Fallen Fortress (the Free RPG adventure), and I know he'd always like another player.

Thanks for the help so far. Bill, I'd love to come down and join you guys but, sadly, I'm committed to an ongoing game that night. Other nights might work for me, especially if there are peeps on the Pennisula. I know a place up here in the 'burg that would host games, but I don't know where your players are coming from.

That said, do any of you know a place where online games are organized?

Oh, and Mr. Frost, if you happen to read this, I know I offered to be useful to the campaign all those (two) years ago and never really followed through...I'm still here, ready, willing, and I think able to be of some use =).

Nice. Glad to know there's an active PFS group in my old home town :)

...And so your back, from outer space.
I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face.
I should have changed that stupid lock, I should have made you leave your keys, if I'd had known for just one second you'd be back to bother me...

What, why are all you guys staring at me?
