The peasant falls to the ground with a sickly crunch, and it seems your battle is over. However, the battle in the valley below continues on even as the bank of fog engulfs them all completely. Writhing shapes are briefly illuminated in the fog by the last of the orange lightning, and soon a deathly quiet falls over the clearing.

Gurdang |

Currently, he has left the Cogs to search for better employment. This memorial service (for what by the way?) seems like a good way to get in with of the lesser "ir's" with some deep pockets.

Boxer |

Boxer wandered around Sharn for about bit before finding work as a porter at the skydocks. After preventing some bandits from sneaking aboard the skyship Pe'Quod he was hired by it's captain, Vaughn Dresser, as a deck hand. He has been working for the captain ever since.
The Pe'Quod has recently docked in Sharn and Boxer has taken leave to attend the memorial service.

Amyrielle d'Cannith |

She lives in the Cannith Enclave in the Dragon Towers, though she wants to save enough money for a home of her own.
She went to the memorial service since she's never been to one and wants to see what one is like.

Eccentric DM |

Whose memorial service is it?
It's for the Day of Mourning. It's a relatively-prestigious affair with several of the more-famous Cyran survivors there to make speeches. on top of one of the towers, and although it's invitation-only your old friend Bren ir'Gadden is there and is paying for enough of it that you won't get into too much trouble if you try sneaking in.
Also, assuming you looted the bodied before leaving, loot:
+1 Opportunistic Spiked Gauntlets
Crit: +1d6, or +1d12 with an OA
Daily: Immediate Reaction when enemy provokes an OA, make an additional OA against the target.
Aversion Staff +1
Crit: +1d8
Property: Gain +2 to all defenses against enemies under an effect caused by you.

Raivek |

As someone who no only lost his entire family, and all his friends, but his home and country as well, Raivek sees the memorial as a good way to pay respects to those he has lost. He holds a grudge against everyone that isn't also from Cyre, but the memorial is one time he's willing to put his ego aside for just a moment. He's come to this city in hopes of finding new clues about the destruction of his home. Anything that may lead him to the truth.

Boxer will pick up the guy by the throat, "The Mistress wants answers now. It would be less painful for you if you give them quickly, I realy don't want to have to tear off your fingers."
Intimidate = 1d20+2
"Oh, no, I don't want answers. Gabrielle and Kashana do. I don't care, really." She hmms. "Maybe, though, you should tear the fingers off, slowly. If I could get a good look at the muscle structure, I could improve your hands!" Amyrielle smiles at the thought.
Aid Another on Boxer's attempt. 1d20 ⇒ 14.

The man picks himself off the ground and coughs. "So, I am spared?"
Ready for the time skip? Also, does This Map work?

Is the light gray a on the second floor a veranda?
The light gray everywhere is the ground. The dark gray is a wall, but thin enough you can share the same space as it. (The wall's on the outer edge, so no going from H7 to I7 without going through the door first.) The asterisks are columns holding the balcony up. The slashes are stairs.
Bren leads Aric out by the hand. "Well, he can still walk, somehow. I think I know where we are and which way is the Brelish command. Come, let us be away from this dreadful place."

Four years later, the Day of Mourning still haunts your dreams. You were lucky. If you just a few hundred yards to the east you would probably be dead right now, just like thousands of others. Words run through your dreams, Five at the brink of desolation stand as one against the tempest's roar...
Today, you all find yourselves at a towertop ceremony in Sharn honoring those fallen in that dreadful day four years ago. A former Cyran major
stands behind a podium, making a speech...

Gabrielle Froidsmains |

Gabrielle wipes her sticky hands clean and listens intently, curiously noting comrades from the past in the crowd. She tentatively greets them, while contemplating new recipes. Whatever Bren ir'Gadden's opinions, a lot of people have a sweet tooth and she's grateful for the chance to gain custom.

Amyrielle d'Cannith |

Amyrielle has been less then happy to be living in Breland, but, with her own homeland destroyed, she needs to live someplace. She's reperesting her house today, dressed in a fashionable dress. It's low cut in the back, showing off her dragonmark. She does, however, have a wand or two tucked away.
She wouldn't wear armor to the service, so if there's a fight, her AC is only 14, not it's normal 16.
Amyrielle is happy to see the others, Boxer most of all, and she quietly gossips with them while the speeches continue.

Raivek |

Raivek tries to keep his composure as much as possible. Despite his sorrow, and the held back tears, these events serve to inspire, and anger him. He listens to the entire speech, and waits for the end of the ceremony. "Someday brothers, you will have your rest. I'll discover the truth, and make the person responsible pay." he whispers under his breath, making the same oath he always has at each of these events.

Boxer |

"Mistress Amyrielle It is good to see you again." Boxer reachs out and give her a firm but gentle hug.
To Gabrielle, "Hello again little Miss, you have grown since we last met. You must have prospered over the years."
"I also see the mindwalker is here also, has everyone from that day at the keep attending this event as well?"
