With the last couple of shipments I've received (USPS), I had at least one item arrive with some minor damage/nick/mar In some cases, it appears that the cardboard envelope hasn't been "full" and the items have been able to move around; in others, the envelope has been too full and some of the corners/edges got crushed.

Not sure if there is an easy or simple solution, but wanted to pass the comment along.

Thank you for the feedback. This helps a lot, as we are constantly reviewing and re-reviewing our practices.

Thanks,

Not a problem - didn't want to come across as b!&$!ing, but it's something that's been nagging at me for a while now.

One suggestion: I've received some packages (from CGL IIRC) where they put the material in a "padded paper sleeve" which served to both protect the books and "bulk" up the contents while minimizing weight. Pretty effective in the packages I've received, but maybe not so much where the envelope simply isn't big enough to begin with.
