What are the new save or dies?

I'm looking for a list of fight-ending spells in Pathfinder. Things like flesh to stone, where one save (or perhaps a touch attack roll) means the fight is over before it begins.

Since many save or dies aren't what they used to be, I'm looking for some new bread and butter for my 15th-level/34 Charisma sorcerer.

Sleep usually.

Tanglefoot bag! Never gets old.

Oh, wait, your meant the *opponent" saves or dies, right?

Glitterdust (2nd), Slow (3rd), and fear (4th) are my suggestions. how the heck did you get a 34 cha at 15th level.

Being able to use the Craft Wondrous Item feat to create a Headband of Alluring Charisma +6 and a Tome of Leadership and Influence +5 on the cheap is a godsend for getting high single stats. With all the money 15th-level characters generally have, the only real thing that might get in the way of most players doing this is (1) not using point buy, and (2) having the time to craft such expensive items.

If I really wanted to, I could have also made the character venerable for another +3 and gone through the lich ritual for another +2 (and the ability to use my Charisma modifier instead of my dump stat Constitution to determine my bonus hit points). Still, I decided not to as I prefer having my physical stats not limit my options (plus, simply trying to survive till at least 11th-level with a suck Constitution is a pain in the rear).

I want my halfling sorcerer to be an unassuming little guy with a LOT OF HIDDEN POWER. Therefore, I am giving him the arcane bloodline (+2 DCs of one school) as well as Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus. That means his most powerful spells (I am leaning towards transmutation for disintegrate and flesh to stone) will have a save DC of 33 (base 10 + ability 12 + focus 2 + bloodline 2 + highest spell 7). By 20th-level, it will be DC 36 (assuming I don't do the venerable lich thing which would put it at DC 38). I also intend to take Spell Penetration and Greater Spell Penetration to ensure the spell gets through to do its job.

This is all off the top of my head, so sorry if one of these is from 3.5 SC, but some to keep in mind are: Phantasmal Killer, Baleful Polymorph, Polymorph Anything, Feeblemind.

You may want to double check on the cost to make the book. Since wish requires 25k of diamond dust and 5 wishes were EFFECTIVELY used for the book Pathfidner listed the Create price as not much cheaper than the base price.

Page 531 Tome of leadership and influence.
Cost to buy: Price 27,500 gp (+1), 55,000 gp (+2), 82,500 gp (+3),
110,000 gp (+4), 137,500 gp (+5); Weight 5 lbs.

Cost to make: Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, miracle or wish; Cost 26,250
gp (+1), 52,500 gp (+2), 78,750 gp (+3), 105,000 gp (+4), 131,250
gp (+5)

So you only save 6,250 on the book.

Beast Shape IV lets you use a gorgon's breath weapon or an androsphinx's roar ability. Both are multiple-target save-or-die effects.

Oh hey, they fixed that - it was a problem in the Beta (though the 5 month crafting time was something of a limiter). Thanks for pointing that out!

Dominate Person (Dance for me puppet)

Phantasmal Killer (2 saves to die)
Polymorph Any Object (Hmmm I need a new chair)
Prismatic Spray (if they get hit by the right color(s))

Wow! That's awesome! Never would have thought of that!

Except the gorgon's paralysis is temporary (unless the target is breathed on twice) and we don't have official PFRPG stats for an Androsphynx yet.

Well, yes.

Dominate Person if you are a Fey Sorcerer you get +2 to the DC. This also applies to Hideous Laughter, and hold person/monster. The hold person allows a save every round, but you still have a chance to CDG the victim.

Might be somewhat hard to use, but Magic Jar essentially can be. I had 2 players have their souls swapped with a Shadow Demon and get possessed. One had the victim commit suicide with a coup de grace, the other teleported to his infernal home, where the PC was quickly dismembered.
