Kingmaker

Liberty's Edge

Is anyone planning on a more democratic approach to Kingmaker?

One of my favorite things about the Campaign Setting were the variety of governments they listed for each country. I figured we would generally see basic descriptions as monarchy/militocracy/theocracy, but there are dozens of different ideas tucked away in that one category.

I think it's time for another brave democratic nation to rise in the Inner sea region!

(Either that, or an anarchaic plutocracy.)

Well, doesn;t really fit with the River Kingdoms, where you pretty much only own what you take possession of.

Then again, if it was up to the players on this Forum, Merisiel wouldn;t have much difficulty winning a popular election. (She's have some competition though, and hte debates would be fun to watch...)

It depends, if Seoni is the opponent...

Reminds me of a quote from a resident of an alternate universe:

"You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you"

With great power, comes great oppurtunity to abuse that power

my KM are in the L-N-E bracket, so 'some' democracy i imagine
