That gains Ungo a playful slap. "Yes I know, someone has to think before acting here. but you'll find there may be very grateful maidens tonight in the village and you'll be grateful not to have frightened them off."
Ungorr eyes grow wide, and then he jumps up and down in glee. "Well, I like the sound of that, many beautiful maidens...willing to show their appreciation for their rescue...urp!" as this earns him another slap, not so playful, from Shaya.
Hopefully, she shifted into elven form first, he he.

I am sorry for not adding anything to this adventure. I am ashamed to have let my participation fall by the way side. I do so heart felt and humbly apologize for doing so. V_V I will truly try and get back up to speed with what is going on and shall work hard at becoming an active and useful player. Again, I am sorry for not 'pulling' my weight.

No problem Shaya, gives me more liberties to have a little fun with your character, he he

nice to have you back shaya!
The villagers kill of the remaining ogres, later they explain to you that they could take out the ogres and perhaps the Oni but the dragon was too tough for them, the dragon was so confident of its abilities that it let the villagers keep their weapons.
The villagers are very greatful and happy!
there is a major celebration and party
a charisma check from anybody who wants to do anything with the maidens!
there are no items of any note except for
a diary (the dragon's)
and a amulet of natural armour +2 that it was wearing
the diary names the dragon as pharus, he is a very bitter dragon who hates his older brother Grymach!
there is lots in the diary about killing Grymach, it also seems that Pharus was very small for his age and was bullied because of it,
there is lots of ranting and raving in it
but there is also a map!
that tells you where the lair of Grymach is
there is a comment "if you find this map please kill my brother! I hate him!"

Zarroshduvar |

Zarrosh parties the night away with the villagers, soaking in the well-earned victory.
Maiden check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Re: the diary - "If it's the dying wish of Pharus to kill Grymach, how can we not oblige? Let's go back to our stronghold to share the news with our giant friends."

Shaya /Sherrenasaerenalia |

Shaya thoroughly enjoys the gratitude and friendship of the village. She also helps bring the lass and her child back in from the safe place in the forest where the party hid them from the previous monsters attention.
Friendly check:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 (Some folks is goin' t' paaar-TAY!) (^_^)

Herensuge |

Before leaving the villagers, Herensuge will ask them what they understood about the dragon reason to come into this village. and what they knew about his plans.
"I don't really need this as I've already got an amulet. you or Zarroshduvar should have it as it will protect you when you get into a fight with another dragon."
We will tell the giants and the pixie about our fight with Pharus and his link to his brother Grymach. He will also look into the library about the powers of the white dragons to prepare the upcoming fight if necessary.

Zarroshduvar |

Grymach is the white dragon who has been searching for the lair of Drumas, our creator. I originally thought Pharus was Grymach, turns out he's just his little brother; no wonder he was easy to defeat.
RE: amulet - I rather toss the amulet into the loot pile, wait till it gets to $10,000 (the min amount we need to made a trade in this campaign), then sell the whole thing and split the gold amongst us. See posts after the first battle for clarification. Of course, any one of us can buy the amulet now at half price and toss it into the loot pile later.

Wouldn't it make sense to buy it now, even if it half price, rather than save it for later? After all it does no good sitting in a treasure pile. If Zarrosh does not want it, then Ungorr will buy it at half price.

Herensuge |

Go for it. I didn't pick it up because I just barely have enough cash for it and want to save my money for something else that's potentially more interesting down the line.
"Zarrosh, if there is a next fight with a dragon and if you need it, I will lend you my amulet. It's not going to add any damage to a white as it deals cold damage, but your blows and bite will turn magical.

Zarroshduvar |

"We might have a the drop on Grymach, but he is a great white." Mused Zarrosh, "If only there is some way to trick him into an ambush..."
"Regardless, we scout out the surrounding area of his lair first. Once we're familiar with the lay of the land, we'll strike when the opportunity presents ourself."
Zarrosh will consult the giants & the pixie to see if they know anything about Grymach's lair/surrounding area, as the Pharus's journal described.

Zarroshduvar wrote:So we rest then head out to scout Grymach's lair?Sounds like a plan.
Sorry for the delay, my last post got eaten and I didn not realize. I'm fine with that. I will just modifiy my spell list in consequence (to be able to take on a stronger cold dragon).

Herensuge |

Does anyone has anything that can ground a dragon? I can do much more dmg with my +1 great sword on the ground. Alternatively, someone can cast fly on me, but I don't have any ranks in fly, so it might make things a little difficult...
There is no spell that can ground a flying dragon exept maybe a hold monster spell which is not available to any of us.

Raven34 |
you read though pharus' diary and look at some maps and you decide that you can work out roughly where the lair may be, Talwyn says that he has been to within 100 miles of there so you will only have to fly part of it.
Talwyn says "masters this mission seems sucidal, this white is very old and powerful, but if you are to face him then you shall not go alone, I will come also"

No pb, RL takes precedence. It was a fun game to play, thanks a lot.
