I miss sliders.

I like that you can now get sliders at places that serve real hamburgers. (ie, not WC)

Steak n' Shake's sliders are pretty good. I'm not a fan of some other places (like Denny's).

Eww.

Don't like Chili's or don't like leftovers? It's quite good, actually.

Or is it don't like bacon? In which case there might be a hangin'.

So, I'm up again. Not sure how long it will last, because being unconscious is the best way to be sick.

Today has been interesting at the apartment complex, that's for sure. :)

BJ's
Kona Grill
Humpderdink's

I know I'm missing some.

Graffiti Burger is pretty good.

I still need to try Five Guys when I get a chance.

Out here, I enjoy Max & Erma's.

And I agree with the Prof on BJ's.

I wish more burger places had sliders. 5 Guys is great, but I'm beginning to think Jake's is even better. My DC/VA broinlaw confirmed this opinion during his recent visit.

High five to that!

White Castle definitely DID NOT MAKE IT.

I've officially been shopped as a viking. Otherwise, banging at my keyboard on resume revision three for the whip cracker Treppa.

There's soooo much better sliders out there. I'm biased, since ma worked corporate for almost 15 years. I could die a happy man w/o ever eating another.

I am up trying not to take any more pain meds since I am almost out.

Pretty good, CJ. I am about to go get some food and then watch The Twelve Kingdoms.

Crimson Jester wrote:

Ouch. Good luck with that. I dislike taking pain meds, but they are given for a reason. ~grimaces~ And not having enough does not help.

Switch to Tylenol?

Are they any good. I am watching the History channels pseudo archeology program on Sodom and Gomorrah. I am not quite sure why, other then it is on.

I should go back to watching the 3 stooges since I have about 14 episodes to watch.

Well I would but the pain is not constant enough to bother. Which is also why I am staying out of the ones I have just in case I really do need them later.

I think I know what you're talking about. Some of them are a bit too 'right' for my tastes and not properly in the historical perspective.

Yes just watched my 3rd version of Exodus an hour ago. Interesting and with once again another version trying to make sense of something that may or may not have happened and only filling in 1/3 of the details.

This show at the least has new archeological information that I had not seen before in the form of a Sumerian planesphere that I have never heard of before. It is the only reason I have not changed the channel yet or just gone to bed.

I have never had White Castle despite being in the city where we had the first White Castle.

You should try them just once, cause that will probably be the last time you will, he he. Being in SoCal, if I want them I need to go to the store and buy them frozen.

They sell them at Wal*Mart. I have as of yet had enough money to waste on them.

So far The Twelve Kingdoms is pretty good. However, I am just on disk 2.

Science channel? I saw that on, but never watch much of those shows anymore since they regurgitate the same information and try to use them to back up some insane theory.

Oh yeah this is the *Science* channel.

Hey now I like Simcha, he makes me giggle.

Occasionally he just happens to by accidently make a point too.

You know right now I keep looking at gamer connection and such and think I may want to try another PBP. Might get me outta my funk.

Crimson Jester wrote:

His points are made by cutting content out from the interviews he does to make some archaeologists and certain groups look like they're fools and to look for singular bits of circumstantial evidence out of context and place some meaning on them that isn't there at all. The man is a fraud and snake oil salesman, he's a film-maker not an archaeologist (despite what he might want you to think).

I'm being nice to him right now too.

I used to hate it, but it has really grown on me lately. The Campbell's stuff is pretty good, not as good as home made though.

Soup is one of the last things I want to eat currently, as temp here has soared into the triple digits.
