I said I was sorry. Besides, it's not as if you have to work a full day then go back out untill 1am. :/
I love my wife, I hate my job. There's a place for everything I suppose.

Gooooooooooood morning Fawlty Towers!!!!!!
Finally, a PRODUCTIVE weekend! I've kept up on my "to-do" list, working on my daily writing exercises(though not physical ones...*sigh*) even on days that start with "S", and I FINALLY managed to post the quotes I've collected from my weekly games- something I've been meaning to do for ages. Next up is finishing the Monks and starting on the...checks D&D alphabet Paladins. I've actually got a few ideas for them that are well-thought out and can be ingrained into the world that I hope are suitable to everyone's palate.
Also, I think I've got a pair of buyers lined up for my bikes. I'll probably get around 400 total for them, but I will see if they are willing to up their price about 50 bucks each- Mother's Day is coming up and I want to do something special for my mom and my long lost mother in law that day, and every little bit helps. But if I can't, I can't, and so I'll just have to start walking to work until I get the new bike. That might be a good thing, since I'm trying to kick start the daily exercise thing.
Finally, in weirder news, I've discovered a new way to store and transport my dice that really works for me- the hard glasses case for the folding glasses that Magnavision puts out. I found them at my local CVS and tested them out myself- they'll hold the equivalent to an old school tube of dice(1d6 not 3d6) and they come with a hook that you can attach to your belt. I have dreams of strolling into game with a bandolier of these things..or I should say I had them. Unfortunately the misers at the store refuse to sell me just the cases, and the glasses themselves are 25 bucks each! I'm going to shop around and check online to see if I can get just the cases. I'll even petition the company themselves if I must!
And on that rather pathetic note, I think I'll finish my daily ramble. What did everyone else do over the weekend?

Mr. Puffin is still asleep. He needs his rest now that he's old.
I saw "Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" for the first time last night (the one with Gene Wilder). Now my life is complete.
Stress echocardiogram in a coupla hours. Woo-hoo.
We had the wrapup dinner for my just-completed Shackled City campaign last evening. The players gave me character wish lists. I have to figure their near-term futures and let it fade to black, then prep Second Darkness for Saturday come two weeks. I'm finding myself less than enthused to be starting another AP so soon.
This is dress rehearsal week. We have rehearsals every night, then performances next week. On top of that, my partner and I are thinking of retooling our business, changing its direction to one that actually is able to sell things. Handy, that, for making money and paying bills.
It's cold and rainy and I'm fasting for the test. Hope everyone is faring well.

Fasting bites.
Are the dress rehearsals for the Copland concert? I hope it's going well!

Sigh. HD is a great guy, Taig, but your badgermind has been colonized by his propaganda. Don't listen to him about DFW, a point on which he is irrational.
BTW, you should be expecting worse from I on objects in sentences. For my great hubris, the gods have decreed that I lose my facility in that area. I'm fighting manfully to resist, but it's starting to creep in.
I've only been to DFW once, but it was for work, so I can't really judge things based on that. I've had a few stopovers at the airport. I hate that airport. Maybe it's American Airlines that I hate, because I've always gotten stuck because of them.
And...I see what you did there.

I just got done cleaning up from another exciting chapter in my Ptolus campaign. No combat, little dice rolling, just pure roleplaying. It was awesome.
Time for sleep.
+1!

Yes yes. I realize that "sympathy cravings" are usually experienced by people living with a pregnant woman who find themselves following her peculiar eating habits, but it serves my love of fatty foods to believe that I am becoming hungrier by reading about Treppa's fasting over the internet.
