Apologies if I've put this in the wrong place, missed some important change, etc. Haven't been very involved in the messageboards lately and I can't get search to do no kind of tricks for me...I thought I sucked at the Google machine but Paizo's search functions are a complete mystery to me. Okay, caveats out of the way:
Is there an error in the oracle's lore mystery entry, specifically: On p.25, under the "Class Skills" header it says "An oracle with the lore mystery adds Appraise, Spellcraft, and all Knowledge skills to her list of class skills." BUT Spellcraft is already a class skill (noted on P.18) so that doesn't make a lot of sense.
The logical fix here seems to be swapping Lore's Spellcraft addition for Linguistics, which is really a needed/wanted class skill for an oracle with that mystery. This is what we've done temporarily, pending clarification from someone in the know. So, is it a booboo? Did we intuit the correct fix for it if so?
I played on Saturday for the first time using this character and had a good time with it. My guy's a halfling oracle 3 (lore) with funky stats but a nice high score in Cha and Int. The two revelations I picked are the Sidestep Secret (trade Cha for Dex on AC) and Automatic Writing. Chose the Clouded Vision curse and that has been fun too.
Oh, further question: with Sidestep Secret does the oracle keep his Cha bonus to AC when flat-footed or otherwise "denied his Dex bonus to AC"? Thanks!
