He got transfered and I had no computer to use the disk he offered me. That was back when they used five inch floppies.

You're just saying that because you were the big bad DM. XP

I wish. I would have published the system and made some money off of it.

What I wrote.
So you guys are fine with a DM just simply killing off one (or more) of your characters in the group? just because they wanted to?
I am fine with it. In fact I once played in a campaign where the DM started out by saying, "Everyone dies, and then you wake up on the shores of an unfamiliar river." Totally awesome campaign by the way.

Invoke what? Pray tell!
Yeah, if emotion has entered my logic, it is in the last two posts. Esp. the last one.

I don't know just yet. Someone may have to unleash ... the kraken. Only then will they realize that the PCs are not on equal terms as the DM regardless of whatever utopian Star Trek society they think they dwell in.
But alas, if I only knew who can wield such power...

Nah, that would be too easy to resort to. Something must be summoned on such great trollish levels that it would result in the unholy offspring of AMiB and Frank Trollman. Something that would even unsettle the Spawn of Rovagug & mighty Cthulhu himself.
Consult the orcales, I must.

Mairk - rather than having your blood pressure go past the boiling point, I see that you gracefully bowed out of the conversation. It is the primary reason why I try to elude getting involve in these debates as it isn't going to change much. The internet brings out the 'I must be right at all costs even if I have to change the flow of the conversation to something inane and not on topic just to throw off the other individual and peppering liberal doses of linguistical semantics' in the average netizen.

The doctor says the kids have an intestinal bug and it just has to run it's course. Of course now me, Thomas, and Meghan have caught it to. Being sick sucks.
Sorry about that, David. I hope it doesn't hit the rest of you hard.
