I keep thinking you're in Louisanna, which they originally from. Don't think they have them in Philly.... They've recently hit the Columbus market a couple years ago. Fresh chicken daily; none of the thawing from the freezer stuff. I'd take it over Chick-Fil-A any day.

I've never seen a Raising Cane's here in Philly, but it sounds like they'd at least be decent. The fresh chicken thing is the way to go. That's what Popeyes does as well.
But, do not even get me started on Crap-Fil-A. The fact that chain exists is a testament to man's inhumanity to man. Hell, that I compare it to crap is an insult to crap.

Eh, they're okay. Just recently built one on the east side after only existing on the North and West side of Columbus. It's a better alternative to the chicken biscuit swill that McD's serve.

ACK! Are...are you...insulting the Chicken McNugget? That beloved and fond memory of my childhood! The only thing on a McDonald's menu I will actually eat (other than their fries)!!!
BLASPHEMY!!!!!

No. As far as I know there are only two in Rochester, and neither is near a B&N (or a Border's for that matter). I agree that it would sweeten the deal quite a bit.
You live in Rochester?

Stupid IE 8. :(
I will often open several tabs of my browser to various sites and boards and keep them open.
I made a post in this thread and after it posted I used the OTD link to go back to the OTD page. While it was opening, I opened a new tab and used my "favorites" option to go to a University of Kentucky sports forum that I post on. However, the "new" tab without an address remained exactly as it was and the old tab (which my browser was not adjusted to view) changed the page it was opening from the OTD page to the UK forum.
This is about the fourth time it has happened since I "upgraded" to IE 8 about a week ago.
:(

Did you go to college(RIT) there? Say about 10 years ago? If so, then we may have some people in common.

I had that happen to me a bit on XP, but on Win7, it isn't an issue.

Yeah, I didn't upgrade to IE8 on my home XP box to avoid these problems.

Aww..I was hoping you knew the infamous Fanboy....one of my best friends, and the best man at my wedding. He went to RIT though, so I'm not sure if you know him, although you may have heard of him. Did a lot of LARPing(*sigh*) up there as well.

Huh, one of my co-workers went there, but it would have been about 15 years ago.

I didn't do much gaming during college. The group I'm gaming with now consists of a lot of UR grad students and staff members, so I don't think there's any RIT connections.

Hmm. One of the drawbacks of eating a healthy lunch is being hungry 90 minutes later...
I went through that too when I started doing the vegetarian thing full-time again. The only way to fight it is to just be ready. Carry extra fruits with you- oranges and bananas are good for me, if only because fiddling with the peel gives me a chance to concentrate on something other than my hunger. Apples are surprisingly filling. I'd say avoid raisins, prunes and grapes if only because they like to..ah..hit the "exit" button relatively soon.
