Howdy all! Just a quick "good morning" before I go and start cleaning snow off the Trailblazer so we can go to work today. Not much this time - I don't even think it could be measured in inches.
Also not sure if we'll get more today, but I'm hoping not.
Later.
Well, I found out....and the answer is "yes".

Oh wait, that's not a good thing...

It's not that we don't talk much. I talk to them about two or three times amonth. It's more that my mom creates a lot of drama, and I would rather not deal with that. For example, when I let them know that I would be up there andthat after my intrview Iwould come up andsee my dad, because my mom will be at work, her response was "well I'm glad you want to see one of us."

They might all die or escape or something. :P

OK. I did finally look into the cost of the hotel. Travelocity and Orbitz want to charge me $600 for 4 nights. Um no.
The PaizoCon page shows that the "con rate" is $109 for 2 people (so $436 for 4 nights or $327 for 3 nights). I'll call Coast Bellevue to find out how much extra it would be for 2 more people. I'm guessing $20 a night.

Goooooooooooood morning! And what a glorious, snowy morning it is!
I have a quest for those interested today, as I am going for training at the second job today and I don't have as much time to myself as I would like. I am wondering which issue of Dragon(or perhaps Dungeon?) has a table of ten or so grisly ends or bodies to discover, and another issue that has things to find in the wilderness to eat along with hazards for failed survival checks. I am running a game this sunday and I realized at the last moment that I forgot these two crucial parts of my game. I thought I had photocopied them, but a quick search of my photocopy pile revealed nothing. Is anyone around up to the challenge?
Also, what did I miss?

Ended up watching the dog show for a bit last night. Thanks Flash :P
Kept asking the wife for a dog. She kept turning me down. Something about having to live with dogs when he parents breded them and cleaning up all the poop. :/
I also have four cats. Cleaning up poop is a way of life.

It doesn't usually happen, but it means that there's a site with a major problem that someone has to drop everything for.
Luckily, it was a request for time from someone else on the team. Being a pseudo-manager is fun!

Also, what did I miss?
Well, Rebecca was looking forward to her turn as Queen of a Mardi Gras parade, not knowing that a very jealous Nancy was plotting to ruin the parade by driving a herd of cattle through the route. Meanwhile, the police were busy trying to uncover the identity of the Beer Pong Killer, whose latest victim had been discovered that morning in a port-o-potty. Across town, Jerome was thinking about that night with the penguins... No, wait! That's my soap opera.

Glad it wasn't bad.
My stomach drops whenever my boss calls my phone. When she has something good to say, she comes over in person. The phone call of "can you come over to my desk" is always bad.

You continue to amaze me sir.:D
Since I have bowed out of the so called "civil" religious thread, I have still been reading the posts. I wanted to speak up yet just do not want the responses I would sure to be getting stress my day out.
Your last post, which posted double by the way, helps take away some of the misconceptions and subtly fight the outright bigotry.
I just wanted to say Thank you.

Let the good times roll. Happy Fat Tuesday.
'cause you know, Fat = Al Gore, planet tilt.
Yeah but without his keeping the world on its axis we'd jerk back straightlike and the oceans would fly up into the sky. You'd look up and see starfish instead of stars and then it would rain whales. You don't know trouble till you've endured a whale storm.

I don't know a whole lot about MT, and what she did and didn't do, but I'm all about learning experiences all around.
Glad you liked it.
I deleted the double, by the way. Dang finnicky messageboards. They don't like long posts.

Now that sounds like an entertaining encounter for a group of PC's on a boat. A whale storm!

It's interesting that Georgia was chosen for the site of the new facility.

She courted money from some less reputable people. This tends to be complaint number one. While she never did answer any of these critiques others had spoken up for her. If she did not accept money from them how can she talk to them and try to change their minds about what they have been doing was the simple response. Her critics said well she needs to show her book keeping so we know she is spending the money right. Come on she was a nun who lived all but dirt poor her entire life.
It goes on from there. I laughed my ever living ass off when Samnell called it a cult. He must have no clue what a cult really is.
I could go on but you get my point I am sure.
Once again thank you for being a voice of reason.
and if I don't get a chance to say so again for a bit break a leg.

Personally I would have guessed the midwest. But then I thought about it and we have been having a very strong push out here for wind turbines. not only does it allow for much cleaner energy but we have a lot of land with which to place them on. and more jobs because well it requires constant maintenance.
