Nah. Lots of straight women don't like sports but like watching figure skating. :)

It's even funnier that right after I posted that, I saw this interview clip with American figure skater Johnny Weir.

I thought your post was very funny. Nice clip. :)

I hope you're enjoying the weekend so far.

No I haven't. goes off to try it

Try boiled water mixed with an equal part of apple cider vinegar and as much salt as the mixture can possible hold. Wow.

Silver Crusade

Warm salt water also helps with canker sores, in my experience, although it stings like a b&+~$.

Home remedy from my Granny. It's rough stuff, but I've never experienced anything remotely as effective.

Oh, the pain. The only reason I know about this stuff is because of my daughter. Maybe I'll wash down my fish oil and liver pills with some of that whiskey. It'll help cover up the smell of ben-gay.

This is true.

I hold a fondness for the game, though. It's what helped my kids get interested in math, believe it or not, and it allowed me to do something other than play "Candy Land" with them at a young age.

Not sure what to do with Devas and such though.
The Devas could be from the India analog [can't recall the name]and all be descended from a now dead diety. Sort of a specific race of Aasimars.

I like this idea. I think I wil borrow it. As for the Eladrin/Elf thing, I have always sort of gone with the eladrin were the elves that left through the "stargate" while the elvse in 4E are the ones who stayed behind, the forlorn elves of Goloron lore.

Or they could be a mystery? Where do these mysterious "Elves" come from. They came across the sea. Do they come here, did they came through the gates?

Yeah I bought my daughter some as well. They were quite the craze. She loved Pikachu with a little girl's intensity.

Re: snow - We still didn't get any this far south in the state (and aren't supposed to), but inland frost is still a danger. I guess the moisture for frost is just from the humidity.

I still have never seen snow in RL, just in pictures, on TV, and in movies.

I should have said something different I just notice I put a post out and its an hour before someone responds. I am not able to be on for a bit LOL and two pages of posts come up. Then I don't respond because well, I have nothing to add. Or if I do, it gets ignored because well, people are having a convo. LOL I just don't want to be a pest. I learned how to function, most of the time, in a group setting but man oh man it is hard at times on the net. No instant response.

I so worry about my oldest son he is way to much like me. They are testing him for aspbergers.if that is how you spell itSorry been a long day don't mean to rant here.

Sorry to hear about the Asperger's. My best friend's oldest was just diagnosed with it, and it's been a little rough. My prayers will be with you.

EDIT: Anybody else feel like needling Evil Lincoln?

I remember living in Tampa Bay in 1976 (I think) and we got snow. That was amazing.

I'm enjoying the amount of snow we've gotten so far here in NC. It's a change of pace from the 50-60 degree winters the past 5 years.

I hope you're doing well. :)

Nah, I don't see it as a rant.

I'm the same way about stuff I post. Most of the time I'm OK when it just gently sails into the night with nary an apparent look.

Sorry to hear about your son. Does Asperger's run in your or your wife's family?

We are, thanks. My daughter spent three hours selling Girl Scout cookies in the cold, but she and a couple of other girls managed to sell 30-some boxes.

No clue. My ex wife is more then a little mental and well, Lord rest her soul, my mother was not the most sane person around. She in fact got much worse as time went by.

My sons saving grace is that he is very bright and has an almost eidetic memory when he reads something. He has issues relating this information back however when trying to write a report or just showing daily work. Some of his more progressive teachers have been known to give him an oral exam in which he passes with flying colors. They are trying to get him a lap top for school work so he can type notes instead of writing them down. Not that he always needs notes since he has a better memory then 99% of the school and staff but rather so he can show daily work.

I was the same way. Squeaked by with c's even though I knew the class work better then almost everyone, not to toot my own horn, but rather because I aced all the tests. I always felt bad completing exams before everyone else as if I missed something.

Heck when I tried for the prison system I thought the tests were too simple and had spent most of my time staring at the clock waiting to take the next one. Same with the insurance license tests. Completed and out before all but one other co worker at the time. We also had the two highest scores.

Like I said it took effort for me to get to the point that I feel most people could stand to be around me for long stretches. I think I would say I could blame gaming for that. Heck I know I owe champions for knowing fractions and basic equations. Couldn't stand math till I started doing that game. LMAO
