Eberron is also a good example of a pulp campaign if played right.

TD Saints!

TD Shockey!

What? You can't name a tight end by memory? :P

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Will they go for 2?

And they don't get the TWO.

Nah. He's a UM alum, so I don't need to. :D

22-17 Saints.

I don't play video games, but that's an interesting Dante's Inferno game.

Dante's Inferno is might pretty.

Actually, I'm not into modern, either. Gaslight, or Sword & Planet kinds of sci-fi as you mentioned. SW, Dune, etc.

Personally, I like Modern if the game's got a good enough hook. Still, you show me a decent gaslight or cyberpunk game? You couldn't pry me off of that with a crowbar.

EDIT: Dante's Inferno? Don't get me started on Dante's Inferno.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Yeah.

The Budweiser commercial was cute.

Damn. I'd have beat you, but my wife interrupted me before I hit post. ;)

I bought all of the Goodman Etherscope products during the sale last month. Gaslight goodies! As for modern ... my only preference would be Post Apocaylpse.

That all depends whether it was a good interruption or a bad interruption. ;)

RPG Superstar 2012

Wow! 24-17 Saints.

holy crap, they got the two points????

I dunno about that...that looks like a dropped ball to me.

The Exchange

a good Gaslight setting would do wonders for me. With an adventurers guild off into the unknown and with touches of horror and lost cities and such.

ghost post

The PA scenario doesn't really appeal to me either...gaslight? Hmmm doggies!

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

I thought for sure that challenge was going to fail.

Has a Super Bowl ever gone to OT?

Ye Olde Act ye Seconde...

Damnit. All the Denny's are gone here in Columbus. I'd go for a free Grand Slam.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Steampunk or PA are good for me.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Thread's acting up a bit.

Okay, change the PA to a ZA. How would you react there?

<nods>

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

That was almost the end of the game there.

See, I guess with PA, it all depends on how you spun it. For example, A steampunk PA in which the fey returned, pissed off at what we had done to the earth in their absence...

Taig - you going to throw in on the SGG P20 Mod/Future Patronage?

Urizen wrote:

Ever hear about Keberos Club? Yeah, it's got a good helping of fantasy mixed in, but it's still great from what I've heard.

Okay ... this is where I go against the grain ... I've never been a fan of feys...

Oh yeah. I think I pledged on page 1. :)

You've never looked at my profile. Sniff.

Zombie Apocalypse.

The Audi commercial cracked me up.

First I heard of that. Thanks; I bookmarked it for later. I hope their meaning of 'superheroic' doesn't mean superheroes. I have to admit I'm not the type of guy that would play a champions / M&M superheroes campaign.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Good to see Charles Barkley getting work. :)

*Slaps head.* Sorry. Yeah, I might could go for zombie apocalypse.

GAME OVER!

RPG Superstar 2012

Game, Saints!

I'd love to pledge for the iconic, but I'd get pissy if I wasn't one of the first six entries. :D

Zombie

EDIT: Ninja'ed

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Too late to give someone else the MVP?

I wish their win had not been on a Peyton interception.

I guess it depends on the definition of 'fey'....

OK. I'm gonna just admit that I'm confused.

There's going to be utter mayhem and chaos on Bourbon St if the Saints win. I've been there during Mardi Gras ... it gets ... yeah.. :D

It seems more like superpowered than superheroic. Have you ever read the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics by Alan Moore? The power level and style seem to be roughly that level. Also, Here's a review of it, and Here's most of the book's introduction.
