Hi guys! Miss me?!
Yep. :)
Awww, I miss you too babe. How are things? We should talk this weekend, you free?

Weekends are often crazy busy, but I don't know of any more massive projects looming, so I think so. Meh, I'll find a way to make some time regardless.

Urizen, that stinks. Hope you find a new job soon. I'm glad you're able to be positive about it.

You don't have to be crazy to hang out here... ~thinks~ Well, to be honest, you do have to be crazy.

I think it's more zen pragmatism, if that even makes sense.

I won't lie though; I have no idea how I'm supposed to pay bills as I've been supporting the missus and she's been going to school and working temp part time jobs since being laid off back in May 2008. As soon as I start feeling sorry for myself, all I have to do is look at the news and know how I'm much more fortunate ... that I'm not in Haiti ... for instance.

Shackles of Willing Submission

These delicate silver shackles are joined together with a slender chain 3 foot long.

The shackles can only be placed on a willing subject, once placed about the subjects wrist it causes the wearer to become very obediant. All verbal request are treated as a Suggestion, no save is allowed. Note that ALL verbal request, by ANYONE who speaks to the wearer are affected.

Cost: Priceless. ;)

Enjoy! :D

I come home from work early to see you guys and you're all gone... way to make a guy feel wanted... ;)

Actually I came home early because I have a very sore neck and upper back (I slept on it the wrong way on Wed Nite) and am having trouble moving properly... :/

good luck man.

They were goign to crack down on Internet use however HR talked them into common sense and as long as we are doing so only between calls then all is good. Which is why sometimes I am quite slwo to respond.

My power randomly cut out.

(And I was in the middle of a download too, it was at three hours left, now it's back at six f$^%ing hours. Gonna be a long night.)

Don't know. I'm sick with a head cold, and therefore totally useless for anything, and there is no one here to entertain me. What gives people? ;)

Just got home from work.

Urizen,
I'm really sorry to hear your news. I'll take a look at FB.

how are you doing this evening?

Okay. Had a pretty good faculty meeting tonight. The guy who's temporarily taking over as coordinator for our department did a good job.

Always nice when a plan comes together

What's up with you?

Sick. Can't breathe through my nose. Keep waking up because it's all drippy. I hate colds. :(

Hope you're feeling better soon. I just popped a couple of painkillers, so hopefully in about 15 minutes I'll be feeling OK...

Damn, I got heartburn something fierce tonight.

Thanks. And I hope the medicine helps you. A sore back is never any fun.

Morning folks. I hope everyone has a good end of the workweek today. Me I'm just happy I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow :)

I don't have a reason to get up, but I still can't sleep. Unrelated to current scenario as it has been occurring well prior to it.

Mairk - I hadn't posted yet because the missus wasn't home yet, but I'm half thinking I shouldn't. Knowing how well potential future employers can tap into employee prospects' history by scouring the web for services such as FB and whatnot, I think it would be a better idea to refrain from making any allusions there, right?

I can always let off steam here. :D

Oh yes, and good morning, FaWTLers! Today is the first day of my new life.

Good Morning Urizen. Probably a good call on the FB thing. You seem to be keeping in pretty good spirits, hopefully an oportunity will come soon. And yes, by all means, let off steam here. Good luck buddy!

Morning all. Urizen hope all works out for you. Oh, I hear steam going anyone have any tea?

Well, it's more like having to keep your s@#$ together because there are others that depend on you to keep a roof over their heads. The missus was more visibily upset than I displayed (at times, I tend to be too much like Spock, which is not always a good thing). I do realize that I'm going to have to make some seriously hard choices in the next 30 days in order to stay afloat, fiscally speaking.

So, how much does an expert fluffer make these days? :P

Scarab Sages

So....My alarm goes off this morning, and at first I'm like "Is that music?"

Then I start thinking "Why is that music playing?"

Then it's "But I don't have to go to work today"

Finally "Crap! It's just Friday, and I still have to get up and go to work."

Morning. Woke up in a crap mood. I hope you guys are having a better morning. :\

Talk to you all in a few.

Mornin' Solnes -- make sure you get some Xtra Caffienated coffee in you. :)
