Post ghost.

Boo.

Lynora,
I didn't get your email. Funny, that is the second time recently I have not gotten an email from someone on the boards. Would you try again? No spaces, all lowercase, punctuation marks used instead of spelled out.
Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks!

Slow day?

Dark Archive

This left me scratching my head. The other day on one of the news stations they said that the first two churches to show up and offer support for the Haiti Earthquake was the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Mormons. They are the same people!

Stupid lousy jobs not taking your need for entertainment into consideration. I swear when I have my own company I'll have scheduled YouTube and FB breaks. ;)

I have gotten into a 15th level PbP being started by Ekeebe. We have been allotted 240000 gp to spend but it is limited by category (maxxing out each and every category gives the 240k). I spent an hour maxxing out everything and deciding what I wanted while making my post. I hit submit. Need I say that I didn't copy it first. :( GONE!GONE!GONE!EATEN!

*grumble*

uggh!

So, how is everybody else's day so far?

Tonight I am making spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. Making meatballs by hand is a pain.

Is that what that's for. I can sleep easy now.

musings of the evening:

Well, Patrick, David, Orthos, it looks like as of this evening, I've officially joined your ranks. The funny this is I'm not mad, but relieved; I can't figure that one out. What's a weird coincidence is that this happened exactly five years and one day from when my mother decided to check out.

I'm sure I'll FB it later, but I'll have to wait until the Miss gets home from school as the last thing she needs to read while in class on her blackberry is my wall post. :P

Mairk, with Mac bowing out of Lyn's goodies and it appears that now I got to do the same (and that was indeed an impressive list she sent today), it's all yours, buddy. Induldge (sic?) on our behalf. :D

Time to go cancel Netflix and whatever else I can do without. And maybe shovel snow!

What did I do for a living or what caused the layoff?

Either or but I was asking what you did for a living. I didn't automatically assume you were at fault. With things are the way they are with the economy tons of people ar simply laid off. :\

I was an analyst at a large mid-western regional bank with my speciality being consumer loans and credit reporting. It has been going around that the company has been hyper-exercising ways to terminate employees to cut costs. Can anyone care to take a wild guess what I got faulted with? (Nothing illegal, I assure you!)

Going to go eat dinner now. Hamburger helper and fresh bread. Mmmmm!

Good luck dude.

As you set off on your new trajectory, if it gives you any hope, I say that all the best changes in my life happened when I lost a job (hehe, like the time I roughed up my boss in the storage room... good times, good times).

Spending to much time online? :(

Well, for what it's worth you are in our thoughts. We been thinking of alot of you guys lately it seems, I know it don't mean much, but I wish to God that I had some means to help all of you. As strange as it sounds all of you are like a deranged family to me.

As Ellen would say, I take all of that energy and give it back to you guys ten-fold. I'm not a religious guy, but I do hold a philosophical view of karma. You just got to keep your chin up and juggle the lemons dealt to you until you catch the one worth squeezing. ;)
