1) How can characters find out a monster’s weaknesses? (ie what bypasses their damage reduction and what element they are vulnerable to.) Is it trial and error only, common knowledge, or somewhere in the middle?
2) Does the effect of a Witch’s Hex continue to last if the Witch dies?
3) The rules seem to indicate that in the first round of battle a character is considered flat-footed if they have not yet acted in the round. Is this really accurate? Because it seems a bit unfair for the people who have rolled poorly on initiative. If this is the case are characters still considered flat-footed if they have been attacked in the surprise round?

1) A Knowledge skill check appropriate to the monster's type (outsider, dragon, humanoid, etc.) and of sufficiently high DC can reveal a monster's weaknesses. Perhaps you learned from the old dwarf at the bar that red dragons really hate the cold, or that there's no point to blasting a devil with a fireball.
2) Good question, no answer for this one. I'd say yes, as magical effects are independent of the source.
3) Yes, you are flat-footed until the first action you take in combat. If you roll poorly on initiative (and boy do I ever), you learn to deal with this fact. It's true you're still flat-footed if you're the victim of an attack in a surprise round; you haven't acted yet, you've been acted upon. One reason to be afraid of rogues is that rogues are sneaky enough to surprise you and have high enough Dex scores to then beat you in initiative, resulting in lots of sneak attack damage. Might I suggest a higher Dex score, ranks in Perception, and Improved Initiative?;)

Ha! Awesome.
4) Can the Witch use the Eagle Eye Hex on the same target repeatedly in subsequent rounds of battle? The wording is a little vague and I think that being able to gimp one monster's AC and then Attack and then Saves and then ... Seems a little broken.
Oh, and if a moderator wants to move this thread to the 'Rules Questions' forum, it probably belongs there instead.

6) Let’s say a sorcerer prestige classes into Dragon Disciple. Blood of Dragons states that he continues to get bloodline powers as if he were gaining levels in Sorcerer. Does this include the Bloodline Feats? So a Sorcerer 5/Dragon Disciple 2 would have received two bloodline feats at his 7th character level? The way I read it he would get those, along with the Bloodline Powers and Bloodline Spells, but the wording is a little vague.
