The more and more I read and think about the Summoner and the Witch (I get to playtest them in a week earliest, sadly), I get the impression that they both are really great to tell stories in a campaign. I see great potential in keeping them for NPCs only - having npcs with abilities my players can't guess, is awesome.
Especially the witch is great as an npc. Of course, I will not say no, if one of my players wants to play one of those classes, but more than the Cavalier and the Orcale, the Summoner and the Witch are great "story" classes (sorry, I couldn't find another word).
I can't wait what stories Paizo is going to tell with these classes available...
Thoughts?

My mistake. I was thinking of the Adept class which has some mix of arcane and divine in her own list of divine spells.
The DMG mentions a 'Witch' class under the 'Making your own stuff' section. It would be like a divine charisma-based caster if I recall. Aside from a sample (limited) spell list, it was never fleshed out.

But it was obsessed over by a whole lot of people. I never really understood why, myself, but to each their own...
