Max:I'm allowing spells and feats from the WHOLE WotC 3.5 library. I may have failed to include it, but I had intended for clerics and druids to have limited access to noncore material (a few spells per class level or some such.)
A note though, I have a huge game design habbit and am prone to modify spells and feats (up or down really, trying to create a balanced baseline, though that does mean that feats tend to get improved more and more often than spells, particularly combat feats.)
Hmmm... Wisdom modifier per spell level + 1 per class level sounds really good.
Oh, and Nightflier, that's quick and easy. Your array is 18, 16, 14, 14, 12, 10, distribute as desired, then apply racial mods.

So would it be possible to switch out one of my known bard spells (Grease) for a spell from the Spell Compendium (specificially, Inspirational Boost)?
As I stated in the bard document, bards know all core bard spells (and all 3.5 core Assassin spells, for the few ones that don't overlap) and get one free spell known every class level from non-core sources from either spell list.
So, for example, you could take Inspirational Boost for your first spell, and perhaps... Distract Assailant (random example) for your second.

Woo! Fighter and Bard!
Anyone want to work for my sorceror? I need a independantly minded, freedom liking person, with no particular love for either draconic tyranny or the rulers of Tre'Age, and who just so happens to be in an adventurer's inn in Tre'Age!

The Fighter's the only new one so far V-P, but there may be others. Once I have the new site done I'll put up a new add thread recruiting.
(Oh, and Nightflier if you want to travel with him you don't have to listen to his requirements, you could just as easily be loyal to the dragon and decide to travel with him to... ahem... gather information..... lol)

Been working on the rogue off and on, but I've been really busy and it's a delicate class.
Just a couple of things to point out.
A: We already have a fighter joining, so somebody else will be playtesting that. (Feel free to multi-class if you like, but I hope I did make high ranger levels appealing. Afterall every few levels you get a new favored terrain or a new favored enemy and they stack)
B: Losing BAB is a big deal in this revision, there are several combat options that just aren't available to those with less than full BAB (though most of them admittedly do come up after iterative attacks do, I intend to have this game go up to at least 8th level)
So I'll try to get that rogue revision completed as soon as I can, but think hard about whether or not you want to give up your full BAB status.

Yeah, I am not really sure. The Ranger is definitely appealing at higher levels. I will think more on it.

NM, next level is way to sweet to give up. Hunter's bond, evasion and a 2nd level spell. I would have to be nutz to give that up. HAHA
Lol, yeah, I know, fighter levels are tempting, with the buffs to feats, starting weapon training at level 1, progressive DR instead of just boom getting it all at level 19, and their special full attack change.
Basically it's this. There are 2 tiers of full BAB types. Neither of these tiers is intended to be weaker than the other, but they do function differently.
Tier 1: This group has 2d6(twice) hit dice, and are pure beatstick characters. They fight with 95% pure mundane abilities, smash people's faces in, or shoot an arrow through their skull.
Tier 2: This group has 1d4+1d6(twice) hit dice, and have more up their sleeve than just muscle and moves. Paladin, Ranger, Duskblade, they're mixing extra skill mojo, magic, divine impetus, whatever.

I took the next level of Cleric, so I finally have a +1 BAB! I took Extra Channel as my 3rd level feat.
I did switch out one of my known Bard spells (Grease) for Inspirational Boost (SC p. 124), if that is alright.
Bro. You know ALL the core bard spells (and core 3.5 assassin spells)
Period. You know every last one of them.
In addition, you know inspirational boost :)

Do I level up too, or whats happening?
Indeed you do level Aydan. I had to debate with myself on it for a bit, but you passed two fairly difficult challenges as did Gorgrom, it wouldn't really be fair for me to level him and not you and besides, some of the things coming down the pike will test your abilities.
As for what's happening, you, Gorgrom, and Feres have completed 'chapter 1' so to speak, gotten through the first parts of your stories to points I can pause the story and pick up without too much damage to the flow on the new site I'm building, which I intend (though knowing my luck very well may fail) to have up by week's end.
During that time, I hope Baldoin will complete his portion as well. We'll begin playing on the new forum after I have it complete, if he hasn't gotten to that point then he'll just have to finish up here when he can and then we'll bring him in.

Gah, didn't notice my part came up already. Sorry about that. It's a very busy month, this is. Haha.
Anyway, tbh, I've found myself a little stuck on how this will end. Making Baldoin up and leave pyrokid and move on goes against his goals and ideals, especially with her...uniqueness. It's late now, so I'll be fashioning a reply tomorrow morn, when I think of some compromise. From what I see, Pyro seems to be avoiding direct confrontation with Baldoin, and Baldoin is quite unwilling to let the matter rest. Plus there's Pyro's mom, oblivious as she is, who Baldoin doesn't want to antagonize. It's all a very slow-moving situation that will take a lot of time, unless Baldoin does something drastic. Or something new enters the picture.
Gah. I'll have to think of this more in depth. Or maybe flip a coin.

Baldoin: Just roll with it and rp through it and we'll see how it goes. No need to rush or force it, it'll come with time. With the other two parts complete I'll have more time for replies so we should get this rather quickly.
One thing I feel obligated to point out though, don't be so quick to expect a confrontation, pyro is kind of psychotic in a "hehehe fire burn hehehe" way, but she hasn't shown any signs of being genuinely evil.
Aydan: check the sorcerer chart again just to be sure, I could be wrong but I thought sorcs got their bloodline spell known and one spell known of their choice at spell level.
Also, about gold... your kind of screwed for the time being lol, though if I remember right you didn't spend much of your starting allotment so you should be alright for a while. You'll earn some along the way though.

The version I have just says B for 2nd level spells known at 3rd level.
Then again it also say i have d6 hit dice and mentions nothing about getting a +1/2 levels bonus to the bloodline skill, so it may not be right.I have 2d4 health isnt it?
Otherwise it all seems cool. And I mainly want gold for allies, but if I get a PC ally, its far less pressing!

I just checked and your right on the chart but I don't find that very interesting. You get bonus spell known at the first level, and then jump to bonus plus 2? Not cool in my opinion lol.
Go ahead and chose one second level known spell, next level you'll only get one more known.
(Also, just so you know, you are clear to get spells from any 3.5 or PF source you want. If there's something that catches your eye more than magic weapon feel free to swap it out since you haven't used it yet)

Yeah, I got that bit. As of now, it's all a strange status quo that is better seen in a slow-paced novel. Haha. Unless something drastic occurs that shifts the situation. Anyway, genuinely evil or not, Baldoin will have to..deal with her one way or another. Gah, I'm getting a paladin dilemma for a monk. Time for something new.
And I've really wanted to do this ever since I realized I didn't have any potions. Haha.

Hey guys, just wanted to give a bump. I wasn't sure if we are waiting on kyrt's site to be up or not. Hopefully we can get back in here soon.
Glad to see your still with me Gorgrom, stupid site's taken way longer than I'd anticipated.
HOWEVER
It is nearing completion. I just need to get Baldoin through this part of his arc, and finish setting the forum up, and we should be ready to play.
I'm really sorry this has taken so long guys, if I'd realized it would take this long I would have took us through another 'chapter' and seen what happened first.
Anyways, I'm headed over to the game thread, it's possible baldy's posted and I missed it.
