Well you have a little time then, I however must be off and sleep perchance to dream. Good luck with the final.

Hey! You too busy to say hi? ;)

Yeah sorry. I literally wrote that and turned the computer off. I was already 10 minutes late. :/

Happy Monday folks!

If it is Monday, which I doubt.

Does this thread have any merit other than trolling?

Yawn

So tired but have to at least get these rosters half done before I go to bed...

EDIT: And that's my first "Top 'o the Page to Ye" in quite some time. :D

Well, utility is in the eye of the beholder. The optimizers like to dicker, you should know that. Besides, why call out a particular thread? The Post Monster doesn't like that sort of thing.

Remember: Feeding certain monsters is discouraged ;)

Because that one sort of stood out to me as being futile and trollish. It's almost as if they want certain people to come and smack them down. It kind of reminded me of another thread in the playtest threads where someone started by saying we should scrap the new classes being playtested and make them PrCs.

Exactly! Trolls thrive on negative attention. You're serving them their meal!

Yes, but only if they know we are talking about them. :)

How come nobody ever wants to know why I'm up so early?

RPG Superstar 2012

Why were you up so early, David? You must have been up at, what, 4:30 this morning.

Good morning/evening to everyone!

By the way, KQ were kind enough to publish another one of my drakes. Hooray! :)

Hell I wasn't asleep untill almost 4, Wifey was sick last night, and up at 6:30.... Danny Glover said it best when he said "I'm getting too old for this s@%$."

Hope she feels better, and you get some rest at some point. Our roommate came down with strep throat last Friday, so I'm just waiting for that shoe to drop on my head. :)

Mornin', boys and girls. Wow, Patrick is really calm this morning, which has the paradoxical effect of making me want to egg David on. FLAME ON, FRYER! Nah, just kidding. Coffee's brewed, and Stevie Ray Vaughn is playing in the background. Man, I had a crush on his niece in Jr High.

Yeah, I am feeling most centerd this morn, and I am off to do many good and wonderous things. See you all later, most likely in the late PMs (or maybe a quick drop by, I am a shameless web browser!)

Sorry to hear that, Moorluck. I hope Solnes gets better, and you don't catch whatever it is.

Good morning, all. Still sick :/ I might go home later.

Actually about 3:30. I woke up and 1:30 and couldn't get back to sleep.

Dark Archive

For all the stuff you guys add at night this place is sure dead at 4:00.

Sorry you didn't get much sleep. Even sorrier to hear that Solnes is sick. I hope she gets better soon.

I hope you feel better soon. Man, it's just that time of year. More than half the people I know are sick today.

What was the so/so movie? Once my woman has her surgery and is let out of the hospital, I reckon we'd be spending a lot of time watching movies while she heals and I perform caretaking duties. Just want to make sure we don't get a dud.

He's not the stereotypical troll. I think he enjoys more playing devil's advocate and is looking for ideas as well as smashing to pieces the ones that he disagrees with. From a psychological standpoint, what I do find interesting from all the participation he does on the system, he rarely offers anything himself out of his own initiative to set himself up for criticism in the same fashion to which he doles out to others' build. That makes it a sign of inadequacy or a self-esteem issue of not feeling accepted if putting oneself open in a vulnerable situation and being unable to deal with any resulting criticism.

Caught up. Mornin', folks!

Check out the candle drake.

(I'm surprised and happy KQ keeps accepting these)

Cool, I can get past the firewall to view it. Chuckled at the joke, btw. :D

How many drakes does that make it now you've put up there?

I can't take credit for the joke. That was Scott. :)

That is my third drake now. I've got a couple more in the wings.

Any particular reason or just one of those things?

Say, have you received the results for your LSAT?

So how does one submit monsters to KQ? I might like to get in on that action.

Just one of those things I guess. The word on the LSAT is that the scores won't be sent out until the second week of January.

KQ's submission guidelines.

The key thing that I never paid attention to, because I am a subscriber and have done a couple open design projects, is that you have to be a subscriber, involved in an open design project, or an established freelancer.

I'm not sure if you're a subscriber, and I encourage you to subscribe if you're not, because KQ has a lot of good stuff. :)

Definitely submit your stuff, though. I think you'd be a good fit.

Right here.

Angels and Demons. Only reason I knew what was going on is I am both Catholic and a conspiricy buff. My wife was lost from the word go.

I have it laying around the house somewhere. Wasn't really a fan of the DaVinci Code, either (I am intrigued by the actual conspiracy behind it, but I really thought it was hokey about the leading lady in the film being a descendent of the line). I will probably get around to watching it next year.

Off to my last visit to the chiropractor.

Try to keep the posting down. :)

Morning. Work chugging along smoothly. I'm actually feeling more powerful since this is actually week two of my return to martial arts approved diet...more water, veggies, no meat to speak of(lots of fish), and a hell of a lot less sugar. Actually woke up at 6 this morning instead of dragging my butt out of bed at 20 minutes before I have to catch the bus. Mind is working out the last non-mathematical kinks of RPG superstar item, and layout for homebrew page as well as the Chainmail stuff(Remember, Crimson Jester? :-) ). Trying to iron out schedules for weekly game today(and if that doesn't work, I'm going to the monthly game this evening). All in all, not bad.

And wife's birthday is Wednesday...

Yay for semester completed! Yay for bacon and cheddar at Einstein Bagels!

Mmmm... Bacon and cheddar...

Bagels ... not so much. More difficult to digest nowadays.
