I'm assuming Garydee's post is a jab at my rickroll on the butt metal thread :) What's ironic is that people could find the promised material by clicking on the Cats link on this thread.

Hey, you gave it away! :)

Awwww. Since I don't know what it was like in the beforetimes, I'll have to take your word for it. Overall, though, I'm fairly happy being around here. Of course, I pick and choose where I visit and post.

Yeah... Apparently too many people are too scarred to click on any of my links anymore.

I get that a lot because I have a reputation for saying outrageous things with a straight face.

Hmm.

I feel like it wouldn't be as fulfilling. I mean, I could just sit around making characters too, but if I'm not going to play them, I don't get into it for some reason.

I've done that for Pat (as a matter of fact I'm meant to be creating one for him now... :/) although mine have been helpful NPCs. Thankfully I haven't been asked to create something to kill off my PCs with yet.

I went on a character creation binge a few years back. I was having trouble keeping all the different rules straight after switching from 3.0 to 3.5, and for whatever reason, that seems to help me with learning rules. But then I had more characters than I could ever hope to (or even want to) play, so I handed most of them off to the DM. Yeah, it really sucks when you're getting your butt kicked by a character that you created. On the upside, I always knew that the equipment would be way better than usual since I picked things that I would want. :)

Seth has his last Baby teeth coming through (his back molars) abd all dsay all he has done is cry and want to be cuddled. And I actually had some work to do today as well.... so much for getting that done. And it's like $330 as well.

Oh, poor baby. It's so hard when they're teething. Of course nobody likes a toothache. It's just worse when they're so little and can't really do anything about it. :(

I used to mix up a paste from ground cloves and dab it on Bryce's gums when he was teething. Worked better than orajel. You shouldn't use clove oil cause that's way too strong and can cause other problems, but just a tiny bit of the spice is mild enough to not cause any harm.

I like rum, except I feel like I got kicked in the stomach after I drink it. Maybe it's because I drank the cheap stuff.

Anyway, I hope Seth is feeling better now.

The Exchange

well since everyone seems to have gone to bed for the evening I will post this and look for responses tomorrow. If any.

Went to the scout Christmas party tonight, kids had a blast and everyone brought more food. My youngest received a couple of awards and both my boys got a special patch that was given out for going to the new downtown arena and helping flush the toilets. Yes that is right they went to the new arena and flushed the toilets in unison, to test the plumbing. So yeah the skits the boys did for entertainment were.... Unique even for scouts. But the family who helps all but run the scouts had all 8 of their kids save the oldest who is off to college singing Christmas carols and the venture scouts doing the same. It was cute. But this is why I was not on and if I missed any posts this is why. I will click the link now.

AUUUGH!

Why why why must I be forced to roll Will saves this early in the morning? It never goes well...

Morning folks. Today will be a good day >.<

Yup. I usually get by on 4-6 until I snap and sleep for like 10. Plus my time in the military really fncked with my waking cycle. 5am rise and shine!

I am up at 5am at least 3/7 mornings, but it's definately not by choice!

Well, gotta drive my daughter to school in the mornings, so that isn't a choice. Then, the evenings I am usually busy until late. Man I am stretched thin thoiugh sometimes, and my tolerance for jerks is getting thinner ... >.<

Try buying yourself some of those new 'Other OTD Thread' Patches. I hear they're good for taking the edge off quitting. ;)
