Sweet. I haven't delved too far into the discussion on the new classes, but is the Summoner a stab at a dedicated 'pet class' like the ones popular in WoW and EQ? (Beastlord, Mage, Hunter, Warlock, et.al)
It certanly seems that way, with a little Polkimon and Magi Nation thrown in. The difference is that it's "pet" has to be summoned rather than found.
Kewl. They are a popular theme in MMOs. Are the Eidolons actually live creatures or some sort of malleable construct?.

It is actually an outsider. The summoner bonds with it and then summons a portion of the creature's essence and shapes it according to his/her desires.

Solnes, I hope your day improves.

Me, I'm trying to resist the urge to go back to bed. The kidlet had a cold over Thanksiving break and now I have it. :/

So you are summoning the essence of some yogsothothy thing and shaping it to whatever you want? Niiice ..

I hope you improve Lyn. I have battled a rash of those colds this year, not fun.

Also, sorry about DMPCing your character to brain 'splode that sorceror on the rock. I know she is sensitive, but when I read about that power, I just couldn't resist. :)

lol. It's okay. She has this weird dichotomy going on. Very destructive powers, and a shy, sensitive personality. Well, one of her personalities is anyways. And I had mentioned earlier in that battle that that was not the personality in the driver's seat during that fight. I'm just RPing her other personality's horror and disgust afterwards. No harm done. :)

Yeah those psionics are killer! (literally lol) I might have to try one out if I ever get into another game.

And with that, off to an appointment and then to hopefully finish up my long-drawn-out project of cutting wood. One last day should do it! :)

Have fun folks!

Okay. First day back at work after a week off...it's surprising just how much one's inbox can hold. I'm thinking of replacing it with a special mimic designed to devour the forearm of the person slipping things into it next time I go away.

Solnes, Lynora, may your individual fortunes revive as the day we share expires.

At least you didn't say that you "can't wait to hear the sound of their voices".

I heard Sara Marie's voice yesterday. SO wanted to say something funny, but the community has probably freaked her out enough already.

DMF, I wouldn't worry about coming off creepy. I tried inflammatory humor, and our ladies hardly raised their languid heads off of their silk divans this morning. Just continue fanning them, and they're fine.

Bon-bon, milady?

See now I have an argument for that. If I had wanted to be cruel I would have imposed my cranky self upon you fine folks today. Instead I was merciful and selfless. I retreated, untill such time that I was fit company. :)

Nah, my ego is so crushed it's beyond hope. :)

It's just that the top of the page was sitting within reach for so long, I was worried.
