Damn, I really hate having a cold. This is the worst one I've had in years. And even though it's Friday, I'm not off the hook. My in-laws are flying in this afternoon for 10 DAYS!!!

How do undead get colds? Aren't they already stone cold enough?

It's a...uh...curse! Yeah, that's it! A curse! Yeah, that's the ticket...

Spoiler:
Seriously though, it's times like this when I almost wish I really were undead. At least then I wouldn't have to worry about hacking, coughing, and spitting up greenish goo for 10 minutes every morning.

Mmmmm...goo

Oh trust me I more than understand...

Aberzombie:
I have bad sinuses and so my nose runs constantly te entire year round, causing mucus to run down the back of my throat and leaving me with a constant cough.
It has been especially bad since I had a nasty cold about 3 months ago and my nasal cavity has been filled with hard mucus that causes me to choke and hack up wads of semi-congealed phlegm on a regular basis. It is so much fun. I plan on visiting the doctor early next week to see about it (finally).

Avoiding you? Uhm, can't speak for anyone else but I passed out on the couch with the baby. Woke up in time to go get the boy. :\

I agree with Lynora, get some sleep, it will help with feeling sad and paranoid. We love you and you know it! :)

It's my own fault I suppose. I forgot to put a smiley face on the end of that Post... :)

Solnes:
Yes it was nothing. She didn't put any of her rings on when she left for work in the morning. It doesn't mean that my mind didn't jump to conclusions given recent history. :(

She just got home and when she asked me what was wrong I stupidly told her because she left her Wedding Ring at home. Now she's mad at me again because I would think she'd go out to pick up... :(

So now I should go to bed with her, even though she really doesn't want me too, which means I once more miss my chance to speak to you... :(
Could my week seriously get much worse when I thought it was picking up... :/

Solnes:
To do a Spoiler aimed at somebody, you type:
{spoiler=flash}blah blah blah{/spoiler} replacing the {} with []
You can actually type anything you want after the =

This is just me being stupid:
Which is nothing new apparently...

I haven't gotten my Fall KQ yet either... Was I supposed to have? I was thinking just the other day that it seems like it should be out by now.

I wonder if our limericks should have their own thread?

I know it's due any time now. Not sure if it is actually released or just about to be. It will still be a few weeks before mine arrives anyway, although at least I'll have the .pdf to glance over.

EDIT: I just checked my Account on KQ.com and the .pdf isn't in my downloads yet, so it mustn't be out yet.

Silver Crusade

I almost forgot about the PDF, because I usually prefer reading the dead tree version, but I do get an email when the PDF is out, and I haven't gotten that yet. See, if it came out more than four times a year I might remember that stuff :)

We need a Kobold Monthly petition...

Yeah I prefer Dead Tree everything as well... I usually skim the .pdf for anything good and then wait for the Dead Tree to really get into it.

Kobold Monthly would be awesome but along with Pathfinder would send me broke... ;)

My wife has really bad sinus problems as well. A few years ago she had surgery to try and fix some her problems (deviated septum maybe?).

Recently, however, she has started using something new - I believe she calls it a netting pot. It's basically a little plastic pot like you might use to water plants. She puts in water and some kind of salt solution (I think) and pours this in one side and lets it flush out the other. It really has helped her alot.

I think it's a nettie pot. I've heard good things about them, and people say it might help with my seasonal allergies, but I keep putting it off.

That thing works great for the missus, as long as she remembers to do it regularly. It even helps with her dog allergy.

Okay, so in the Uresia setting, one of the many races or "men" are the Heltish Beastmen. One of the most common forms of beastmen are the Creesh, a race of catfolk. Since the latest edition of Uresia is setting neutral, I decided to adapt the various races for Pathfinder. Some have presented more of a challenge than others, but the Creesh are pretty straight forward, so I started with them.

Creesh Racial Traits
+2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, -2 Wisdom; Creesh are quick and attractive but they are flighty and unpredictable.
Medium: Creesh are medium sized creatures and have no special bonuses or penalties based on their size.
Normal Speed: Creesh have a base speed of 30 feet.
Low-light Vision: Creesh can see twice as far as normal in dim lighting.
Heightened Senses: Creesh gain a +2 species bonus to Perception.
Supernatural Sensitivity: Creesh are highly attuned to the supernatura. They can use Detect Magic twice per day as a spell like ability.
Natural Weapons: Creesh have claws which they can use as natural weapons. Their claws inflict 1d4 plus strength bonus damage, and do not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Languages: Creesh speak Common and Elven. Creesh with high intellegence can speak Draconic, Gnomish, Goblin, Halfling, Orc, or Sylvan as bonus languages.

Please post any comments here. You guys are great.

I used to use this as well for my allergy problems. It works, very, VERY well, but I would advise practice in getting the ratio of water to salt just right. Once you do, it's a dream.

Field trip was nice. Wayy too cold and a lil rainy, but they had a good time. We did end up skipping the little story time and going back to the school though when it started pouring rain. :\

Sorry you're having trouble in your life, Lynora. I won't have a character tonight, but I will work on it this weekend (in addition to a Wayfinder article and a submission for the latest PFS open call).
