All the kids in these parts are all teenagers and think that Halloween is uncool. :\

Haven't seen any Trick-r-treaters at all.

Urge to binge eat all candy... growing.

I hope you didn't spend to much on the candy. I know that sucks, at least I was expecting very little activity tonight..... I guess the Kobold Corpses scared the kids away. ;)

RPG Superstar 2012

We're getting a healthy number of kids today. The puppy freaks out every time someone shows up at the door, though.

The Exchange

Well Folks Solnes is almost done with dinner, the kids are in bed and Paizo has been fed and is roaming the living room. Time to cuddle up on the couch with some chinese food and my beautiful wife, and watch some scary movies. Have a good evening all! :)

We expect it, since we give out the big candy bars, and have for close to a decade. We had 150 on hand, so we are doing well. The teens come to the door just to get a full-size bar. lus we are one of the few houses that actually take some time to put up spooky Halloween decorations. My wife has a Halloween village from Dept. 56 she sets up in our front windows.

Good night!

I'm beginning to think no TorTers in gated condos.

EDIT: Maybe not camping pays?

Not too much. Whatever candy survives the night will get split between my dad and my nephews.

G'night then.

No Paizo, chocolate is bad for kitties.

Just in time for Halloween.

Just got the call. Headed out to exotic dance club tonmight.

See you all later.

Trick or treating accomplished. Sooooo cold. I took him and I went in costume, because I could :) But dear lord, that wind was bitter. And my costume is just a touch on the skimpy side :/ Still, the boy had oodles of fun and is very happily eating enough candy to make himself sick, so all in all a successful Halloween. :)
We got very few trick or treaters at our house again though. My husband stayed home to pass out candy and only about twenty kids came through. Weird.

Oooo, you look lovely. :)

My older nephew went as Commander Cody (the Clone Trooper) too.

Wow, we blew past the Jacks thread a while back, and I never noticed until now.

And that's so cool. Bryce deliberated for a very long time between Commander Cody and Captain Rex, but in the end he went with Captain Rex because he likes to be in charge. :)

Yeah, I think the only active thread ahead of this one is one of the word game threads.

Nice costumes, lynora!

The Three Word Game thread has more posts, but not by much.

My younger nephew went as Optimus. I tried to get him to let me help make it from boxes like the old cartoon, but he said no. He wanted the TF2 movie version from the store, "'cause that's what Optimus looks like now." :(

Another reason for me to hate Michael "Blow It Up Real Good" Bay.

Awwww.:/

The old Optimus was cooler.....but my kid is the same way. We got him a DVD of the old Transformers cartoon and he loves it, but he first saw them in the Transformers movie, so that's what he thinks they should look like.

Poor children who think *that* is the Transformers. There oughta be a law. :)

Hi, Sharoth! How is your Halloween going?

taig wrote:

Pretty good. I forgot to get candy, but that is ok. I had some friends over for some spagetti and stuff. We watched a few movies. I am at work right now helping out the guy who is on call. He has worked his rear off. ~yawns~ Unfortunatly, I just really want to go to bed.

Paramount should hold an open call for the TF3 script. Winner gets to be the writer; runner-up gets to whack Bay. :)

How could anyone write anything worse than TF2?

Well that sucks. Hope you get plenty of sleep (plus that extra daylight savings hour).

Liberty's Edge

I'm starting to get the oncall heebie jeebie sketchies real bad. Every time the phone rings I cringe.

So we decided to light a fire in the fireplace, cause it's cold and all, and it turns out there was a wasps nest in the chimney and now there are wasps crawling all over the firescreen :/
Not really sure what to do now...

Liberty's Edge

Where's the fire screen?

~grins~ I understand how you are feeling. The money is nice, but so is having a life.

Have you had any nightmares where you try to leave your bedroom, but the door opens directly to your workplace... so you're trapped?

Yeah, but I'm awake.

No; I usually either have the "I really haven't finished college and there's a class I have forgotten to ever attend, so I have to take the final, but if I fail the final, I can't graduate and have to retake it" dream,
or the
"I reinlisted in the armed forces but didn't know it because I was drunk, and I went AWOL as well, but I didn't know it because, again, I was drunk so I've missed 9 or so years of National Guard drills, so I'm gonna get sent to either Leavenworth or Iraq, my choice" dream.

Liberty's Edge

Best Halloween EVAR.
Cept too many old assed kids either without costumes and a pillowcase, or wearing their Hot Topic goth crap they wear all the time anyway.

Ugh. Hopefully your sleep tonight will peaceful and nightmare free.

Yeah. If they're old enough to drive, they're old enough to drive to the store and buy their own candy.

I only saw one of them fly into the room. Not really sure where it went. :( There were two more of them, but I never saw what happened to them. I hope none of us end up getting randomly stung when we do find the little buggers. :/

So the only other person who can currently open the store messages me today to say that he can't work tomorrow now. So I therefore have to go into work at 6am on my day off to do a 10 1/2 hour shift because there's noone else available to work it.

So I'm sorry Moorluck and Solnes but I won't be able to chat with you tomorrow morning now (yet again).
I am very very much over my work at the moment. I so need a new job. Unfortunately I don't hold out much hope for the two positions I applied for last week. :(
