It's actually so big that we'd need a new setting of cosmic proportions to contain it! BTW, I *think* I saw your ego mentioned in 'The Great Beyond' as something that "goes beyond the boundaries of the areas discussed in this book".
Well, something has to contain the Cerulean Void....

You guys need to get back to praising me as the luminary I am to these boards.
The latest place is my review of The Anubis Murders.

(People, don't feed his ego; it's bigger and scarier than all of the Great Old Ones put together -- in fact, his ego eats Great Old Ones for *breakfast*, and I shudder to think what it eats for dinner...)
You realize, Asgetrion, that he will take all of this as just more flattery...

I've got nothing to add. It just seemed that this is where all the cool people are hanging out so maybe if I post some of their coolness will rub off on me :-)
I partly agree. I don't expect any coolness to "rub off on me," but yeah, some of these people - and their messageboard conversations - are so awesome, I feel compelled to participate, even if all I can think to say is a threadjack marginally related to one little comment.
This very post is a good example.

It's simple:
Sebastian is so powerful, even his shadow came to have its own substantial existence -- as an individual in Germany.
Begins gagging.

So KaeYoss is the Sauron to Sebastian's Morgoth?

Since I started this thread, have I become immortal yet?
On a lighter note, Asgetrion was one of the names I was trying to remember when writing the original post.
The only reason he was left off the list was because of my laziness. I just didn't want to go back to that qadira thread where, on two occasions, Asgetrion spouted his chelaxian propaganda at me, so I tucked my misty genie tail and ran for the desert.
How I ended up having a crush on the young queen of Cheliax, in my haste to flee, is still a mystery to me.

It's going to take me a while to finish The Paizo Poster-General,
so here is something easier:
The Paizoling
Oh, better far to live and die
Under the brave Blue Pi I fly,
Than play with less well-written parts,
With a golem head and a golem heart.
Away to the corporate world go you,
Where game companies are well-to-do;
But I’ll be true to the song I sing,
And live and die a Paizoling!
For I am a Paizoling!
And it is, it is a glorious thing
To be a Paizoling!
For I am a Paizoling!
You are!
Hurrah for all Paizolings!
And it is, it is a glorious thing
To be a Paizoling!
It is!
Hurrah for all Paizolings!
Hurrah for all Paizolings!
When I sally forth to seek my game
I hold out for the Paizo name.
I spend a few more bucks, it’s true,
Than a low budget gamer ought to do;
But many a line of quality first-class,
Is developed and kicks my gamer ass,
So I must manage to subscribe,
and hope my spouse doesn't tan my hide!

Although I'm not so sure about that implication that Paizo isn't a well-to-do gaming company. I think maybe you meant to say that companies involved in more profitable pursuits than gaming are well-to-do.

You're fine, just make fun of someone, preferably Mairkurion or Mothman.

I'm not a minimaxer 'cause I focus on the narrative
Fully imagined characters at my table are imperative
In short in matters systematic, mastering, and mythical
I am the very model of a Paizo Poster-General!{refrain repeated by chorus x3}
::bows:: Filking Gilbert and Sullivan, awesome!! But I have to admit, I don't recognize the Paizoling tune ... can you please elucidate?
And for all filkers out there, if you haven't found The Boogie Knights take a look and enjoy!

I get it now. You're saying that Wizards of the Coast / Hasbro is well-to-do. By the time I realized that, though, I wasn't in a position to connect to the internet. And now it's too late to delete / edit my post.
Anyway, good show. I'd hold up a lighter, but Mairkurion would probably have a "Smokey the Bear" attitude toward fire safety.

Talk about hateful speech! All the more reason for me to never post in this thread, ever.

Paizoling = Pirate King
Aaron, as far as "well-to-do", I was thinking not that Paizo wasn't successful, just that they were not the uberwealthy mega-corporate type. Far be it from me to comment on other companies on this website. It's just an amorphous something out there somewhere. Maybe. And I did love Smokey as a kid, but he just wants you to be responsible with your outdoor fire usage. For example, you could flame people who make threats or who tell you to make fun of me. These are all responsible uses of fire Smokey would endorse, as long as you thoroughly smother the fire once they are all burnt up.

Flagged for making spurious comments! (You know you'll be back...)

I used to be a "famous" Paizo poster. Now that "normal" 3.5 D&D has become less popular than PFRPG and 4e, I find I have precious little to say, mostly because I'm not actively gaming with a group that's playing PFRPG currently (hell, I don't even have a copy of the rulebook yet).
Sometimes, though, I tell myself that I'm still popular and that people like me. Scotch helps, too.
Us old-timers remember you Fatey!
