Here's the "game thread". Pop in and introduce yourself to the locals while you tidy up your character stats.

We fight without enhancement, yes? This is a tournament, of course.
Now, I really am blushing.
In the old days, knights wear parts of female apparel as a sign of their ladies' favor. Are we going to continue that tradition?
I hereby bestow upon you the use of one of my old avatars. That probably counts as apparel for these purposes. May I suggest Irirangi as the best bet? The other girls are either warlike or lippy.

Becton of Pelor looks like your only possible choice. But it would take a while to switch him into Pathfinder Rules.
Hello, this looks like great fun! Rellios is hardly the proper sort for this type of tourney. Swords...great...not so much lances...or horses for that matter. ;-)
Good luck with it!
Rellios.... no not really.... not the type.

According to the table 12-4 in the Pathfinder Core Book (399), 4th level wealth would be 6,000 gp. Seems a bit high to me...but that's what they refer you to from the Starting Weath Table on (140).
Hope that helps.

Radavel wrote:Any rules against the use of magical items in the joust?Oh. I thought we'd said that. Yes, no magical items in the joust. Magical healing will be provided by the local clerics but that's it.
Note TRK's stats does not include magical items. But I will now add some masterwork items, particularly the armor and the shield. Lances to be used in the tournament are blunted and are not meant for serious combat?
How about the use of class abilities? Invocation of one's deity during combat, i.e. divine spellcasting?
To be clear, once unhorsed, disarmed or otherwise prevented from fighting with a lance on horseback, a competitor is considered defeated, yes?

A couple of question on making a new character for this. Any traits being included in this - like the ones in the Character Traits PDF? Also, what about regional traits/feats - from one of the PF Companion books, for example? Or, just from whatever's in the PF Core Book only.
This begs the question, are you looking for more attendees for the joust? Was going to put a chracter together, probably this afternoon, but if you've met your quota, I understand.

Self-buffing invocations of one's deity wouldn't get you kicked out of the competition if it seemed justified. It would hardly be sporting in 'friendly tests of mettle' but if your character can make it seem the noble thing to do, then sure.

If you are making new characters, it is PF Core. Existing characters are taken as generated.
It's all in fun and all good.
More are welcome. Just get your character together and you'll get slotted in.
