i think i got it clear, but here is more information Memorial in Lake Geneva
Monte Cook pointed this to me, Bruce R. Cordell pointed it to him
As soon as I saw this, this is what came to mind:
A large square pond with a statue of a dragon in the center of it, and four iconic heroes "attacking" it from all sides. And of course a plaque. The wizard statue should be holding a book and maybe have something written there.
Heh. What did Gail mean by stressing, "tasteful"?
I hope this memorial goes public. Is it too late to correct the spelling of "Gygax" in the thread title?

Fixed.
Thanks, Vic. You're crazy busy, as ever, but it's appreciated!
That's very cool. Auction, huh... I should start saving.
This is something I hope will not only happen, but that I hope I'll get to see a few times in my lifetime.
If it's built I'd even take my kids or grandkids to visit it one day.

So they are going to build a Pyramid to Gary Gygax at Lake Geneva Wisconsin?
All Hail the Paharoh!
Sure, the Egyptians thought that pyramids were tasteful monuments, but what do cheeseheads think?
