I try to terrify her with stories of my childhood, like when my older brothers held me down and poured kerosine on me then lit it.... good times... good times. :/

Yikes. I got nothing like that. I got beat up at school a lot. And then I started going berserker on them and they stopped. But otherwise no real horrible issues to work through. Just super smart and batsh*te crazy.

I just decided to grow to 6 feet tall one day, and all that mostly stopped.

I love the show renovation realities. They're so cute when they think they can actually do this stuff themselves. :)

I should probably be in bed considering the day I have tomorrow, but I never can sleep till the wife gets home. Shouldn't be much longer now though. :/

Watching a guy laying on the floor trying to pry tile countertop up with his legs...they don't write sitcoms this funny. :)

There's a reason why people get paid to do that stuff. I once had a guy tell me that "any idiot could do my job". I asked him how long he had tried getting rid of his ants, he said 2 months. Hmmm must be a very special kind of idiot then. ;)

Well, at least these ones remembered to shut off the power. But they neglected to find their blueprints and have to put a wall back up that they just tore down. Priceless.

So, are fireants more of a pain in the ass now because of "multi-queen" hives?
I read something about them ten years ago; it was maybe the new thing those bastards were doing.

Well we have discovered that most fire ant colonys have more than one queen, thats why when you say, run over one with a lawn mower the next day you have three or more mounds. They split the colony up so as to maximize their chances at survival. The biggest reason why the african fire ant, we do have a native variety but it's not a threat, is such a pain is the lack of natural predators, the only thing that kills them is us... even our local termites can't handle them. So the little buggers just keep spreading outward from the SE where they started out at.

I don't know what it was, but there's this thing in Texas, a flying bug...
I had these little flowers in my back yard, and I noticed all the petals were on the ground. Then I saw one fall. Then another. And I looked and there was this bug......chopping the petals off of these flowers.

Sounds good to Solnes and I, let us know when you know for sure. Solnes says she may even be able to get that weekend off. Any other Paizonians up for a trip to Myrtle Beach the weekend before Thanksgiving?

Honestly, I am not on call, so it is an almost solid Yes for that weekend. There should be no problems, other than me heading that way either Friday night after midnight or that Saturday after I wake up.
