And that has to do with food, so... :)

Newcastle is pretty nice.
It is a fairly large city by Australian Standards (about 6th or 7th largest) but has a very small town feel to it.Newcastle itself is the main City of the area, but the whole area that is generally referred to as the Hunter Valley is usually what most people think of when they think of Newcastle.
Anything else? :)

Small crisis in the Moore house this morning when, before we woke up, Kellen decided to try and get on here to post some and managed to lock me out of my laptop. And then my charger broke, and he had drained the laptop of power. Thank goodness Moorluck is really good t fixing things, as my final is due today and it was saved here..well the half of it I had done!!! I could have cried!!!
And my lil Spawn...."schools not THAT important mom, you're already a grown up!"
*SIGH*

Well, I am here instead of at the lake since I woke up with fever and chills still. And my husband was feverish last night. And the little one was complaining that his tummy hurt. Family obligations or no, we weren't going anywhere. Which means that we'll have to go in a couple weeks for my father-in-law's birthday instead. Which is not my favorite since he shares a birthday with my mom and it's really hard to be cheerful then, but there is no help for it.

Tonight I am going to try my hand at making potstickers from scratch.
Sounds good. I only did that once. My husband swears that they were delicious. But it was a lot of cleanup for something I don't even eat, so he hasn't been able to convince me to make them again. Maybe for his birthday. :)

Admittedly I am cheating because I am going to use prepares wonton skins to wrap the dumplings in. It's a trick I learned watching Food Network.
