12-1 is a good time for me (Lunch Time). That'll give me a chance to drive down there and not leave at some ungodly hour of the morning. Plus, it'll also mean I can leave and be home before the kids go to bed at 7 as well, which is always a plus. :)
Don't know the names of any Pubs in the area, so whatever you guys suggest is fine by me (and I'll quote myself: "as long as they do a nice Blue Scotch Fillet Steak I'm happy!").

Will see how I get on :p
That being said... make sure you put a Pathfinder Logo on the table - as theres nothing worse than gamers trying to find the gamer table and having to walk up to randoms and ask "hey are you our Dwarven cleric?"
Too many MMO get togethers have scarred me :p
Good point.
I'll wear something with a moth on it.

I'm short portly (read fat) and hairy - I have a reddish goatee I will either wear my Scotland Rugby jersey or my Drop-kick Murphys hat.
EDIT: I know what Chubbs looks like so if I see him I will let you guys know when to run.... Heh Heh heh ;-)

I’m blonde, with fine hair (alright, thinning hair dammit!), average height and build, I normally wear glasses and will no doubt have sideburns or muttenchops or 5 day’s growth or something of the sort. And if I remember I’ll wear my mambo t-shirt with a moth on it (which is kind of how the name originated).

Yep, day is good with me.
I think we settled on The Royal Exhibition Hotel, Chalmers Street Surry Hills (opposite the entrance to Central Station, corner Devonshire Street).
Hey, I saw that there are gamers meeting at a *pub* on Sunday in late June.
And did someone mention PF Society? Can anyone show up to this?
(Well when I say 'anyone' I don't just mean *aaaaanyone*, I actually mean me: I even have dice.)

Any Pazonians that are able to make it are welcome.
Yes there has been talk of talking about a PF Society.

So, noon, right?
How are we all going to recognise each other? Like I said, I'll probably be wearing a shirt with a moth on it ... maybe I should wear a Paizo golem or something too.
Paizo should do little badges or pins or something with the golem on it.
I was just going to go with a nerd shirt. I just need help deciding which is the most geeky:
1. The OOTS "The correct term is smite evil, not bump uglies"
2. Zhentil Keep Military Academy
3. Professional Role Player
4. Fallout Vault 101

Either of the first two sound pretty cool.
Funniest geek shirt I have seen in context, was this guy who looked almost exactly like the comic book guy from the Simpsons (but with glasses I think), wearing a shirt that read “No, I will not fix your computer”.
"There are 10 types of people in the world - those that understand binary, and those that don't"

I will be wearing my Scotland Rugby World Cup Jersey.
maybe we can print off a the Paizo Golem and leave it on the table corner.

I might just come along naked... No doubt then about who is Chubbs McGee!
That's right Chubbs - the smallest "man" in the house...;-)
I will have a sign made up for the day, so it will be easy for us to gather... It may or may not be attached to my waist! XD
Please hide your shame... Attach it to your face :-b
Hehe nuked from orbit.

Pfff... How do you reckon I got the name Chubbs in the first place?! No anti-Chubbs comments from you...

Still good. I actually decided to put it in my calendar, so hopefully I won't miss it.

Its on my calendar as well.
So the Mothman, The 8th Dwarf, Chubbs McGee, are definite attendees.
I hope that Flash can make it so we can grill him on what it was like entering the RPG Superstar.
What about you other guys...
If you know any other gamers get them to come along...
Build the network - convert people to PRPG
We can create a good gaming community out of this.

So, dumb question, I'm assuming this is just sort of a meet and greet and knock back a few beers (or beverages of choice), but is anyone bringing any gaming stuff?
I wasn't gonna (I'm not a big fan of gaming in open public places after having to play VtES in a Food Court in Sydney for a Tournament a couple of years ago...), but since I'm driving I can always throw some stuff in the car just in case. I'm assuming you mean Pathfinder Society Gaming Moth?

Anything really. For example, one of the guys I used to game with would carry around a set of dice with him wherever he went, so if an opportunity for gaming came up, he’d be ready. That’s not really my style, and I’m not expecting that we’ll be playing anything on the day, just making sure everyone else was on the same page.

Hello again.
I might be dropping in on the way home from work. :)
Looking forward to seeing people. :)
Cheers!
Cool - It will be good to meet you.
Anyone know if any gaming stores around Sydney are taking part in Free RPG Day?
I was doing some training at the Mercure across from Good Games - They had some posters up at Good Games.
Interestingly the guys a Good Games said that they had a shop in Burrwood - I will have to track it down.
Damn, day after... that would have been awesome if I coulda got the PF Bonus Bestiary for free while down in Sydney for the Meet & Greet. :(
bummer

Yeah it used to be SGC (Sydney Games Centre) and it was pretty good. The guys that used to own it (Chris & Kieran) sold it to Good Games (who are from Melbourne). They also bought Wizards of the Central Coast (or so I had heard) but last time I went down there it was closed, so I don't know what's goin' on there.

Hmmm, I'll have to check out Tin Soldier. I'm not a regular at Good Games, would feel kind of wrong getting free stuff off them.
