Idea: Winter joinup for Paizonians in Vegas?

I'm quite excited at the idea of attending NeonCon, and a price break on the hotel certainly sweetens the deal. I'm sure that my suitemates will agree with me on that. :) Thanks for doing this for us, Doug.

Thanks for the heads up Doug. Any way wcould just get deal on tickets? Since I'm just coming from Cedar City, in Utah, I'm not goin to need a hotel. Even if I do stay over, I would be staying with my wife's family that lives in Vegas.

We do have some more people coming from out of state, a good overall deal will be great.

One more question. What kind of payment options are there? I have gotten rid of my credit card, and don't currently have a checking account. How can I pay for my registration?

Indentured servitude comes to mind. Or selling a kidney.

Vegas? Hmm...let me weigh the following options:

1) Vegas and meetup with fellow Paizonians or

2) Spearmint Rhino & Cheetah Club....

You tell me. :)

It may come to that. I lost my job today.

Yep. Working on that.

You can mail in a money order. Also, if you volunteer (GM) you can get a free badge. I need to double check on the details, so I'll get back to you on it soon.

Indeed, I'll be coming all the way from Pittsburgh. Saving a bit of cash would be nice. I'm glad that I randomly decided to look at this thread. My job is rather busy during the summer, so I'm pretty limited to how long I can take off. I'm glad to find something like this in a more convenient time.

Also, I've never been to a game convention before, so I have no idea how it works. Will I have to make some official Pathfinder Society character in order to play the games?

Hey, sorry to hear that man. Here's hoping you strike it rich in Vegas! :-)

Hey Doug, I submitted a request to run a session at NeonCon, but I've decided to go a direction that is different than what I submitted. Is there anyway that the submission can be changed?

David - After submitting initial plans through the form, you can submit updates/revisions to events@neoncon.com.

Thanks,

Doug

Folks,

I want to give you an update about the discount for Paizonians. It is essentially done. I'd hoped to have the final details up this evening, but we hit a small confirmation snag. I expect that this will be resolved later tonight or first thing in the morning. So, look for the "final word" by tomorrow afternoon at the latest.

In the meantime, is everyone OK with PaizoCon Vegas is happening as part of Neoncon? Or, does everyone want to see what the final deal is before committing to it? Either is OK by us, I just thought I'd ask because I respect this community and do not want to make any assumptions?

Thanks,

I have no problem with the plan. It takes one less thing off my mind actually.

I'll be attending NeonCon either way. IMO, it's better to combine the two.

Folks,

I am happy to announce that we are extending a 10% discount to members of the Paizo Boards for what we are calling PaizoCon Southwest at Neoncon 2009. You can get all of the details here:

http://www.neoncon.com/promos/paizo2009/

Feel free to pass this info on to fellow Paizonians! However, please do not post the link or promo code on any public boards, Twitter, etc. as we'd like to reserve this deal for members of the Paizo community.

Thanks,

Doug Daulton

Remember to sign up now! Prices will be going up here soon!

So is there anyway for me to find out how many people have signed up for my session I'm running?

Paizo Employee Director of Game Development

I'm in! See y'all there.

You won't? Why not?

Wow! I almost forgot about this.

Well, I'm taking a vacation from work on the 16th of October. Looking forward to meeting Eric Mona (maybe an autograph?) and Mr. Adam "The Mantis" Daigle. Anyone one else made a definite plan to be there?

It would help if I checked my dates as well. Since I have 120 hours of unused vacation time, the 5th - 8th of November isn't out of reach either.

Hey Johnathon or Doug, Have you guys been able to confirm that people who volunteered to run sessions will get in free? Unfortunately that is the only way I will be able to attnd, since I still haven't gotten a new job.

I actually contacted someone from NeonCon and they have offered a deal where I will be able to come and run my session.

It was something Doug offered me.

Well next week is Neoncon. I wish I could go, but it seems like I will not be able to. I'm sorry if anyone was looking forward to the Curse of the Valkyrie.

Paizo Employee Director of Game Development

Nooooooo!

Dark Archive

Sorry. I don't have the money to get to Vegas that weekend. If it was the wekend after I might, but it's not.

Paizo Employee Director of Game Development

I understand. Money's been tight lately for you. I'll just have to meet you some other time, some other place. Sorry to hear you can't make it.

Well I do live between you and Vegas, If you are driving, you could stop by. I'm actually on the way.

Edit: Okay, so technically I'm not on the way, but I am only 3 hours out of Vegas.

So what about this year, David? Think you might be able to make it?
