Marissa misses with her attack, the wolf able to dodge out of the way with ease. Nils is able to get to his feet, but when he does, the wolf takes a snap at his legs, but misses horribly.
Feona draws steel and attacks the wolf too (assuming she can do that in her next round).
Nils strikes the wolf, but the wolf snaps back, landing a bite on Nil's flesh.
Feona also hit the wolf, and the creature staggers a bit, looking close to dropping.
Burrloft is up.
Burrloft again concentrates and swings sending the fist of telekinetic force out toward the wolf.

With the last punch from the force, the wolf then falls over on it's side, staring blankly into nothingness.
Marissa looks down at the wolf with pity in her eyes. Its ribs are standing out against the fur and its spine is visible along the back. "The poor thing must have been really hungry. I know it was trying to kill us but... well we've all been hungry before." She stares at nothing for a moment before shaking her head to clear away some unwanted memory. "Well now, I wonder who set that trap? It can't have been for just rabbits, look how easily it pulled a full grown man up into the air. I wonder if we're getting close to the druid. Maybe he doesn't like visitors."
Burrloft nods at Marissa's words. "Beating to death an animal driven to ferocity out of desperate hunger is no worthy deed. I'm sorry it had to be done; I had hoped to just drive it off. But that doesn't stave off the fact that it would have claimed on or more of us if it could... Nils, my friend, you are hurt. Miss Moongazer, is there anything you can do for his wounds?"
Nils looks a little lost gazing down at the wolf he gradually takes in what is being said and then frowns.
"I bet you it was them," he openly mutters as he finally understands what Burrloft has just said.
"Well I have had better days admittedly," he grimaces in response.
"Just another dead dog as far as I'm concerned," Feona huffs, anger showing in her face and tone. "And I agree with you, Nils. I bet it was a set up by those stinkin' mercs! Fresh rabbit, fresh trap..." she trails off, shaking her head and looking around for Nafti.
"I say we get out of her soon. There may be more wolves about...or worse."
Marissa lifts up her silver butterfly medallion and turns her thoughts inward. Drawing upon her unshakable faith in her goddess, she channels some of Desna's power to restore some of Nils injuries.

"Thank you!" Nils nods back as he wonders where what else is lurking out here.
OOC: Okay, will do. I this case I'll exclude the wolf. We don't want him biting our ankles after all that work to put him down!
"Well, we do no aid ourselves standing around moaning over an expired wolf," Burrloft finally says, "Let us once again work on finding this druid's home."
Move the wolf's remains out of sight into a shallow grave (unless it still lives in which case tend to its wounds after all Nils doesn't have an animal companion yet).
Burrloft raises a quizical eyebrow towards Nils "It's dead, is it not?"
OOC: Marissa will help Nils determine if the wolf is still alive (heal +6) and cast Stabilize if he wants to save it.
