Background:
Born to the Longtoes clan in the lowlands near the Mushfens, her family were hard workers but just couldn’t earn enough to keep their large brood of children in food and clothing. So, they left their homeland, and became entertainers, eventually joining up with a traveling band of Varisian nomads.
Feona grew up among the nomads, learning their ways and worshipping their gods, and her family felt “at home” for the first time she could remember. This way of life stirred her wandering and pilfering nature and at the behest of her friends and adventuresome cousins, the Roundbellys, Feona decided to trust in the guidance of Desna and so she struck out on her own, wandering from town to town, and eventually found herself back in the lands of her birth.
Sandpoint was a city she had visited years before and she longed to see it again - its markets, people, good food and drink. Plus, she itched for some kind of adventure and wondered if indeed Desna had led her to the port city for some special reason. Her nature told her to "go with it" and so she was not surprised at herself at all when she passed through the gates and into Sandpoint on the eve of her 22nd birthday.
