As for the girls? Boom-Boom (now sadly dead)
Lame.
I tried to get back into reading comics but BS writers like the ones writing for marvel and DC made me change my mind.

Pretty much how I feel but I can't seem to stop flipping thru them on the shelf. The best title marvel has right now IMO is Wolverine First Class... and it's geared towards kids. But for the most part I'll stick to the "classics"

Cyclops circa Clarmont and Byrne.
I loved Cyclops when he was the pain in the ass straight laced leader that still was a good leader and was usually right. You know, back in the good old days when Logan would go off on a tear and it actually seemed like a bad idea, instead of Logan's instincts turning out to be right all of the freaking time . . . or at least becoming more "right" based on his popularity.
Of course, the turning point in my liking Cyclops came when he abandoned his pregnant wife to go chasing after Jean. I know they retconned this later to be "okay" because his Maddy was an evil clone created by Mister Sinister . . .
(Yeah, Clairmont was still writing then, but the whole X-Factor fiasco was based on Bob Layton's brilliant idea to get the original "gang" back together again, which only entailed screwing up one of the best Marvel storylines up to that point)
Wait, what were we talking about again . . . ;)

I know the feeling. Was I the only one rooting for Maddie and Alex in Inferno?
Like I said, I liked Maddy.
Edit: I also liked Scott's least used power, his instinctive knowlege of geometry. Too many writers look and say 'simple straightforward power' No, not so much, not when he can bounce it off of 3 walls and hit the guy in the back

I couldn't, I was too caught up in the Illyana side of that plotline.
Oh God, the elevator scene... That said, I did think Madelyne Pryor got shafted royally by all that mess. The stories around the time she showed up were among my favorites, so I got pretty attatched to her character.
And condolences to the Tabitha fans out there. That sucks. Guess Nextwave didn't give her popularity immunity after all...
I don't even want to know what's happened with Wolfsbane recently do I?

Oh, I was rooting for my favourite blond Russian too.
No, you don't want to know what they've been doing with Rahne, or most of the New Mutants for that matter.

They are kinda doing a reboot on the New Mutants. I'll check it out and see how it is.
