Tristan enters the scene and looks at Djuhah.

:::"Thank you Sir, for the fresh clothing and a bath. I feel much better about many things. Although I have this blue dot on the palm of my hand...":::

If Allura's around

:::"Anymore funny shadows? Where's Arielle and Little Kiba?":::

Crap - of all the blasted things I had to miss.... ;)

Devlyn just made it to the Hole in the Wall when the scream was heard, and saw Aidan and Oroth head out to find out what was going on. He heads off in a different direction so they can all cover more ground (and to make sure both Allura and Tristan are alright). Once he is with them, he then uses his communication crystal to find Djuhah.

"Djuhah? Talk to me....what's going on?"

Djuhah's dealing with the disturbance from the scream. Allura was the one waiting for Tristan. I know. Stage directions can be so hard to keep up with. :)

"No more funny shadows for now. Let's go upstairs and get you some food. I'm not sure where Arielle and Little Kiba are right now. They both had some...things that they needed to deal with. Maybe you'll see them upstairs."

On their way to the Hole in the Wall, they hear the scream. Allura looks around warily, trying to keep an eye out for trouble. She grabs Tristan's hand.

"Come on. I'm not sure what happened, but if there's trouble here that's a very bad thing indeed. Let's see if we can't find the others quickly, okay?"

"Shadows. Ones that specialize in sliding through wards apparently. And with Starsong distracted this is an especially bad time for this. One of them was stalking Allura earlier. I'd rather not have anyone wandering around alone right now, so if you can all gather in one place that would be good. Sky and I are working on something that will at least tell us right away where they are. If you or Oroth have any insight to share about fighting shadows I'm all ears."

"On it. I'm heading down to find...nevermind," as he runs into Allura and Tristan coming up the stairs, a look of relief on his face. "Where do you want everyone to gather that has enough room to hold them? I'm not as familiar with this place as I should be."

"As far as fighting them, three options right now:
- One, remove any shadows they can hide in by bathing the whole Eyrie in omnidirectional light spells;
- Two, go the opposite direction and plunge the Eyrie into total darkness;
- Three, take the fight to them and try to rout them. I can do that, but I don't know about Oroth. I think he's more closely tied to sun than shadow now."

"We had thought of the light idea, but not the total darkness one. That certainly answers our questions about what to do about nighttime. There is room for everyone to gather in the Hole in the Wall."

"What's going on? We heard a scream and came looking for the rest of you. Wait, you're talking about shadows? Does this have something to do with what was wrong with my shadow earlier?"

Allura wrote:

"It sounds like there are a group of shadwodancers in the Eyrie. How they got here, nobody knows yet. Jay Frogskin evidently found one and killed him. Now we need to take care of the rest, it seems. Everybody needs to be sent to the Hole in the Wall so we don't have anybody in harm's way when things turn violent (which they probably will, I fear)."

His irises glow white for a few seconds, then return to their normal color. He looks refreshed and more alert than before.

"That's better. So much for a restful evening..."

"Alright. I'll take Tristan up to join the others. You do what you need to. I'll try to keep an active detect thoughts up. Hopefully that will make it a little harder for them to sneak up on us."

"Yes, I can manage that."

She concentrated for a few seconds.

:Be careful, love. As always, I'd like you back in one piece.:

He kisses her.

"I will be, love. Aren't I always?" he asks with a wink as he starts to head down the stairs, opening his senses to search for the interlopers.

"Good that will help. Everyone but Devlyn, Djuhah, and Sky is gathering in the Hole in the Wall, me included. The others may have a hard time seeing the shadows if they do try and strike so you're going to have to help us see them if they do try and come near. We're not trying to leave you out of the action. We're trying to make sure everyone is present and accounted for so we can all help watch each other's backs."

Devlyn will go to where Djuhah and Sky are currently to coordinate their next move.

Dun dun DUN! :P

Blodwen starts organizing the celestial eagles and Starhawks into patrols based on whether it's day or night. It's hard to concentrate on her telepathy while trying to keep four (well, really eight) little fledglings in the nest, but somehow she manages.

Working together, Sky and Blodwen manage to get the all the young ones in their care down to the Hole. The younglings in a makeshift nest guarding them with solid wind.

:I have to meet with Djuhah, my love, to think of a way to keep these invaders out of the Eyrie. I'll talk to you later.:

Sky flies of to meet Djuhah.

Allura and Tristan join the others gathering in the Hole in the Wall. Allura does a quick headcount.

"Where's Arielle?"

:Take care, eranoyeh.:

She turns back to the curious fledglings.

:Now, as for you lot, you're just going to have to stay in the nest for a bit little ones.:

A very flustered Blodwen looks up.

:I can search for her if you can keep the nestlings occupied for a few minutes.:

Once she's sure that the little ones are properly distracted she starts a telepathic sweep of the Eyrie.

:I can't find her,: she says, sounding worried.

Logging off for the afternoon commute. Back in an hour or so :)

Shadow Lodge

Logging for the night. See you all later.
Kiba and Lk will track Arielle by scent if she left any, Aidan and Oroth will stay behind and guard the Eyrie if need be, Sky will search for her by air if asked and Ellara will do whatever.

Hmmm. We might need to wait until we get enough folks back to do this...

Time for me to log out to. G'Night all :)

Good Morning. 'It is by caffeine alone that I set my mind in motion...' ;)

Shadow Lodge

Good morning everyone. Give me chocolate and I wake up. I also find it works better than aspirin for headaches! Hm, seems I have the start of a rant, sorry. Anyway... morning.

EDIT:Yay, the eldritch knight is up! I only just now looked at him and I am so going to play one when I finally get a hold of the PFCore rules(or a druid)!

Chocolate does help headaches. I've had nasty sinus headache for the last three days and ended up doing something very unusual for me, which is eat an entire box of chocolate in one sitting. But my head did feel better for a little while.

Shadow Lodge

Look, the gang's all here! Now to go hunt for a demi(?)god...

Sorry you're not feeling well, Lynora. Hope the headache goes away soon :)

A hot bath can help too.

"Who saw her last? LK? Have you seen her since we all got back?"

:No, and LK hasn't seen her since the bazaar either. Is Arielle's room shielded in some way? Would that be able to block Blodwen's scans?:

This would be a good thing to ask Djuhah, since he would be the mos likely to know.

Thus Devlyn must ask him since Allura isn't telepathically connected to Djuhah. :)

Shadow Lodge

*Looks for Devlyn, can't find him* He must be hiding in the shadows... ;P

"Arielle's room is not, but Starsong's room is. If Arielle went to see her mother then we would not be able to locate her magically or psionically. And with Starsong secluded from everyone except her daughter we have no way to determine if that is where Arielle is at present. Unless you have some other ideas."

"You of all people don't need the explanation for that comment," Djuhah said dryly.

"Okay, can we get someone with scent to track Arielle and see if she went into Starsong's room? I don't even want to think of what's going to happen to us if we've misplaced the goddess's daughter."

He can pick up her scent starting at her room and heading toward the practice area. His nose is telling him that she should be right there sitting on the balcony, but she isn't.

Uses his blindsight to canvas the whole balcony to make sure she isnt' there.

"She should be on this balcony near the practice area - her scent is really strong - but she isn't here. Anybody got any ideas before our day gets a whole lot worse...?"
