Well I bought the beta book and love it,but see alot of little things wrong with it. I just wonder since they have so much of it already printed up, how many changes will really happen to the final print.
The Beta has been going on for quite some time now. The playtest stage has been going on for a long time, since it came out (around a 6-9 months?). There are a lot of things that have been brought up through playtesting that have been acknowledged as issues and are going to be corrected. Paizo and especially Jason Buhlmann have been running at full speed trying to keep in touch with almost every thread about the playtest. If they weren't willing to change it they sure did do a ton of extra work to make us believe they would.
I have 100% confidence that Jason will do a great job.

I expect plenty of changes but that the general direction it's taking to not change so much.
I saw an interview at rpgblog2.com, mentioning some areas will even revert closer to 3.5.
If you happened to miss them, Jason (the writer for Pathfinder RPG) has posted several times with "updates" to various parts of the rules (Barbarian Rage, Paladins, Animal Companions, and more). These "updates" are certainly just as much "rough drafts", but they may at least give you a slightly better idea of where the final product is headed.
Here is a consolidated list of those updates
Hope that helped

My opinion: There won't be a whole lot of changes between the Beta and the final version. And the changes that do occur will be mostly cosmetic (e.g. shuffling around the monk's abilities or the paladin's abilities).

Actually, there will be some larger changes, as suggested by playtest feedback both online and in person. The final PF RPG game will be closer to 3.5 than the Beta, which is what I always suspected would be the case. The PF RPG game isn't for folks who think 3.5 is broken and unplayable, but for those who like 3.5 but think it can be streamlined in some places and have more options in others.
We're not trying to make a brand new game. We're trying to make one that plays and feels the same as the game we (and our customers) have been playing all this time.

Am I the only one who feels faint stirrings of bliss when they read that?

Nah, man. I'm with you on that one.

Well, I heard a variation on this speech before during the Alpha phase (something along the lines of "We put all kinds of drastic changes in the Alpha playtest to push the system, but the Beta version will be closer to 3.5."), and I found the changes between the Alpha and Beta versions to be mostly cosmetic. So I'm taking a wait-and-see attitude at the moment.
I suspect we might differ on our definition of "large" and "cosmetic" changes, though.
At any rate, I like the Beta version well enough and I like 3.5 well enough, so I'll probably like the final version well enough also, if it falls into that range. Hurray!

Heck if anything I'd like to see Pathfinder push the edge a bit more. I'd love some areas to really break out and kick ass! I do hope classes aren't going to revert back to the lame boring 3.x versions...

Uh...actually, that is another thing that happens to me a lot when I read Jacobs' posts...but I, uh, didn't feel comfortable mentioning it. I'm among friends, right? <Charlie Brown smile>
Actually, it also happened after reading Mona's post about the "Final" rules.

I wish they would clue us in now on what changes from beta are imminent. It would let us adjust our current campaigns in prep for the release. I hate unfinished thoughts and hope for closure soon...My big question is grapple/cmb. Are they keeping it as is in beta or going back towards 3.5 a bit. Hit dice and final skills too I wonder about. Ahh patience is a virtue or so they say.
