thanks
Jeps, what Montalve and Shaoth said :D
The free PDF will be uploaded after the COn (not immediately). And the printed issue will be shipped to those contributors who couldn't attend to the Con afterwards. The shipping part will be worked out afterwards.
Any donation gets you a printed copy :D we are quite close to covering the cost but still a fe $$ away.
~grumbles as I read the bill that will cover the shipping fee~ Ummmmmm...... Hugo? Lilith? Don't you think that $1958.12 is a little bit excessive for shipping?

lol.
Not when you take into account the exorbitant shipping fees for sending them to those of us that live overseas (of which there are quite a few).
I think $1,958.12 is a very conservative estimate! ;)

Also, Lilith and Hugo: Sarah Feather (the wife of Snorter) has given permission for you to use this picture of KemKepi for the Fanzine. I know it's probably too late and you've already commissioned the art for it and all, but she asked me to let you know. :)

Fanzine Status:
Writting: 100%
Editing: 100%
Art: 85%
Design 80%
Layout: 80%
Costs: 85%
I must say that I'm really frustrated that the magazine interior is beign printed in B&W.... Its looking so nice that color would have closed the deal.
Note: Is looking nice in MY eyes so I hope my pespective is shared by most, otherwise I might get stoned :P
We are still open to donations! ;)

if its an event (even unofficial) you can begin charging that way you can complete the last 15% that is needed for the Fanzine Cost :D
Maybe instead of a stoning, we can get a dunk tank.

[newsflash] Fanzine design and Layout finished. First proofreading and last art orders to be done on the weekend. That's right, no life. On the weekend. Wife closing in with knife...gotta go[/newsflash]
I assume that is an exacto knife and you are doing the layout the old fashioned way--cutting the columns of text and pasting them up. That's what you meant, right Hugo.

Believe it or not that's how I falled in love with the profssions. An uncle of mine have a design studio and when I was around 8 years old I saw him making an invoice as you said, with knife and paper, real old fashion!

That's kind of similar to what I do at my day job. Designers don't learn to use rulers and exacto knives anymore, apparently, so jerks like me end up hired to make comps and things when Barnes and Noble needs to see the book and stuff like that.

I loved that type of layout. You could bring so many people into the publishing process at so many different levels. The newcomer could start off pasting the dates on pages. The old hands could put together graphics. It was a lot of fun with everyone together in the same room working towards the finished product. I doubt this would have happened in that environment. ;-)

Making the watermark screens with airbrush.... now THAT was a profession! And as James Keegan reminded me... I need a dayjob :(
Anyways...
Fanzine development:
Writting/Editing: 100%
Art: 90%
Layout: 95%
The last pieces of art are due today and the cover art is due this week (cover beign the last part of the fanzine).
The Layout and desig is finished and just waiting the final revision and the missing art pieces. So, all in all, we are under schedule :D
The final Fanzine is 72 pages. I managed to cut severel pages to reduce printing and shiping costs. NONE of the content has been cut out, so don't worry about a slim fanzine. Actually, we are including a few more art pieces that expected, so there are around 35+ art pieces on the fanzine plus 3-4 comic strips. Its looking real nice!
Tomorrow goes out to press :D

Done.
My e-mail is in my profile, you know, although it's written phonetically, to stop spammers fishing for it (I don't know if that still works, by the way).
I've no problem with anyone using it, especially if they're good folks I get on well with (which is most folk here).
Failing that, don't forget, we're friends on Facebook, and I get pinged if I get a message.
I understand the reluctance to mail someone out of the blue, though. I wrestled with my netiquette, for a minute, when the WotC pdf deadline hit, but I'm glad I did, since the potential good I could do outweighed any potential rudeness I might cause.

I just got the last piece of art and I'm still half way with the last 3 pieces, but other than that, the art is covered! Thanks everyone!
Snorter, Drew, I'll keep in touch about more art ;)
Also, I just got the Foreword from Liz, written by a BIG Paizo overlord telling some sweet stuff about...about...can't tell... :P
I'm soooooo excited about all this... Paper and other printing stuff has been ordered and paid... nuthing can stop us now! Unless undead kobolds take over the printshop...
*goes back to work on the Fanzine*

Maybe a hint? Pretty please?
And why the bias against undead kobolds? They could do the job, as long as there was no one there with braaaaaains.
