What's the progress (i.e., percentage) we're looking at, with respect to funds collected vs. funds required? Last report was that we were at about 45%.

Now we are up to 60%!!!

We are past halfway but still have some considerable goal before us.

Thanks a lot people, Liz and I will make sure that you will get your gp's worth. You already know the writters and artists,so you can see all the quality there, and soon you will see taht the presentation will live up to the contributors quality standards!

Again, thanks a lot folks, and don't be shy with those donations :D!

The Exchange

I am about ready to pay for my full page add. Woohoo!

Hugo, if somehow my phat Paizo Paper Minis cash comes in before the print date, I'll donate generously. Until then, however, I'm rather poor. I'll get in contact with you via e-mail about what you need and when, so I can gauge the possibility of helping pay this thing off.

Oh, and can we hint to folks what we got to draw, or should we keep it a secret? I'm kinda curious whose article(s) I illustrated for, and if they'll be happy with my non-Hugo, non-Keegan (etc., etc...) art style. I'll just have to be satisfied with the fact that Lilith didn't send me back to the drawing board on my end. :P

Man I'd be stoked if you got to draw somethin' for me. And don't let anyone tell you different!

Oh and 39

That's Lilith's area, I'll ask her, but I think secrecy would be part of the excitement at least for a while :D

And thanks for the tought Ashton, any donations are more than welcome! Even if they come AFTER the Con. Honestly, I'm not counting to cover the whole cost before the Con. I hope people actually seeing the mag will motivate them more to contribute.

The Exchange Kobold Press

Well, I've put some funds in Lilith's coffers. Hope it helps.

Fantastic!

The master of patronage throws in!

(Being an OD patron, I've seen a few projects go way over proposed word count, so I'm sure Wolfgang can identify with this suddenly hefty project. ;) )

Thanks for the support peoples and lest keep it up!!!

Fanzine Status update!
60% done with final edits and formatting.
48% done with art.

For those of you curious to see what your final submissions will look like (and the editing changes therein), it's going to have to wait until after I get everything off to layout. Too too crazy this week. :D

And awesome artwork James, both of 'em!
I shudder to think whether you actually drenched yourself in blood to get that image, or who you tore apart to get said blood!

Liberty's Edge Contributor

Wow. Those are really good. I'm curious--and pretty intimidated--to find out what great writing inspired the artwork.

This is going to be a really cool publication!

EDIT: Wait...I just did some quick math...Lilith, did you go from just over half-way done to "all files out" in just over 24 hours? You're a superwoman!

I'm salivating thinking about this fanzine.

Seriously.

I just salivated.

Yes. But I already read what I wrote. I'm salivating over the prospect of reading what others wrote.

Good stuff. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final product. Ok, I'm not salivating like Tarren Dei, but I am psyched to read the rest of the stuff, see the artwork, and have a little piece of Paizocon to take home with me.

When I follow that link, it asks me to log in. Any chance the art'll get posted somewhere those of us not on Facebook can see it?

Keegan's a genius, and I'm hoping to give him noogies until I drain all the art power from his brain-meats at PaizoCon. Plus, anyone who draws a modron is awesome in my book.

As for the fanzine, I was excited already, but I'm especially excited to see A: the articles I did illustrations for, and B: the art other people did.

ARGH! Wanna read it so bad! IT BURNS!

Wait, that's not good...

For those of us who contributed but cannot make it to Paizocon, how are we going to recieve our copies?

Oh, a very good (as far as I can see) black & white artist....

Impressive work, Mr. Keegan. :)
(It is correct etiquette to refer to professionals by their surnames, yes?)

Sovereign Court

I love black and white art. Colour is cool as well but it's a different beast. I think we got an artist line up equal too or better then some independent publishers. Some of the authors will have some quality work as well . . . although I'm not quite as exited about that lot :P

I will figure out someway to get it to you. :D

I agree! Grateful that I was ask to contribute, these drawings that were requested from me gave me a chance to try new things and draw stuff that might never have done otherwise. I'm really pumped and looking forward to seeing the articles that my drawings are for. I just hope I did them justice!

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32

I'm just buzzed to see it all and be a part of it.
Lilith (and Hugo and more people behind the scenes than I can poke a stick at) have done an awesome job getting this together.

Huzzah!

*rumages thorugh ots of art and articles*

Mwahahaha all this awesome stuff to play with...mwahahaha!

*goes hires designing frog to help out to pull it all out in a week*

PS: We are getting close to cover the printing costs, thanks to all donators and I hope more join and help!

thanks

it will be available, I believe, for free after the Con... still I do believe they need donations too for small they are :P

Mactaka wrote:

The PDF will be available for free. However, if you want the print version, you either have to go to PaizoCon 2009 or contribute some money to cover the printing costs. OTOH, if you just want to support the magazine, that would be nice too.

Mactaka wrote:

Jeps, what Montalve and Shaoth said :D

The free PDF will be uploaded after the COn (not immediately). And the printed issue will be shipped to those contributors who couldn't attend to the Con afterwards. The shipping part will be worked out afterwards.

Any donation gets you a printed copy :D we are quite close to covering the cost but still a fe $$ away.
