His words and his actions will impact LJ, but Angel is now the Angel of the future. And it that future they were together. Those same words and actions will impact AoV as gently or as painful as they do Lyn. As they must have been doing since she 'returned' from the future.
The future IS uncertain isn't it?

As Lyn turns from him JH begins making plans. Plans on how to kill her sister Ash and anyone else he finds in this Records Room before they can harm her. Maybe that will stop that future from forming, and save Angel from all that pain too.
If Angel thinks she can get violent, she ain't seen nothing yet.

LJ makes sure that she has everyone's attention before she starts to speak. She is doing everything in her power to pretend that nothing is wrong, but she's a terrible actress.
Okay, everyone, I've done everything I could to find out about our enemies, and I gained a few key pieces of information. The bulk of our enemies exist in a place called the Palace of Skulls, but it's a vast army and we're not ready to mount that kind of an offensive just yet. Especially without any further information about what kind of enemies we'd be facing there.
So instead we need to mount a raid on a small location in a remote corner of the Abyss known as the Records Room. This is the stronghold of what is left of the goddess's cult. The most important thing here is to take out their machines. They will likely have a whole array of them. If we can strike fast enough they won't be able to activate most of the really destructive ones. Taking out the cult before they can resurrect the goddess is key to our overall victory. There are a few cultists, two fallen angels, and some sort of undead female. It's likely the more powerful cult members will try to flee rather than stay to fight you. Any questions?
