Malice Jack looks around
Wow! That's a lot of new stuff. Thanks for the amulet LJ!
Malice stands
So what are we doing to stop the black hats?
Well, first I'm trying to get these amulets to all of our allies so that our enemies can't keep infiltrating our bases. Then we need to figure out who our enemies are and where they're hiding. Which is what I wanted to talk to Angel about. Maybe she has some clues from the future.

*WHISPERS TO MALICE* It might be best if you don't mention the x-ray enhancements to Lyn. I kinda let it slip.
Gotcha! He whispers back
The amulet glows and MJ's eyes get big. He whispers to his comrade.
JH you are a lucky man!
JH accidentally steps on Malice's foot. Hard.

OWWW!
Uh ...no ...JH just has a bad habit of stepping on people's toes!
Whispers to JH
Jeeze you tell me about the Xray vision and expect me not to try it?
Accidentally 'bumps' into JH, jabbing him in the kidneys
Uh-huh, she says dryly, and would this little exercise in brotherly love have anything to do with x-ray vision? Hmmm? Or did you think I had been sufficiently distracted from that little gem of information earlier? she asked with a smile and a little bit of an eyeroll.

Blushes
Err.. ahhh ..ummmm
*sigh* Look, just don't do it again, okay. There's only one Jack here that I'm interested in that way and I'd just as soon not be ogled by the rest of you. You want to use that on other girls, that's between you and them, but I'm taken. Okay?
Here, why don't you do me a favor and hand out the rest of these amulets. Make sure to use yours before you hand one over. I don't want our enemies getting a hold of one and figuring out how to counter it.

Angel, just the person I was looking for. We've gotten pretty well fed up with waiting around to be picked off. Plus there was a few other nasty developments, like me accidentally telling an enemy agent, well, pretty much everything. So we were thinking that it was time to take a more active role and actually fight some of them...Only we have no idea where they are. Can you help us with that? I mean, anything you can remember that might lead us to their location...

lynora-Jill |

Ahem. This might be a good time to point out that the weapons I forge are holy. It's the celestial training.
A good thought, Warforged Jack. We'll likely be needing some holy weapons if we're going to be fighting evil and/or undead. I'm going to go see what information I can find about the whereabouts of our enemies. Thanks, Captain Jack for telling me where to find a sunlamp. Then we can try to come up with some strategy from there.
She goes into Plantjack's room, blanching at the destruction there, retrieves the sunlamp and takes it back to her own room. She attempts to use commune, and any other divinations she can think of to try to find the location of our enemies.
She's going to be able to find the Records Room, but it's location makes an attack there unfeasible. Whether she can find the Palace of Skulls is up to Patrick.

I think it's behind a 7-11 somewhere. ;)

I don't know how well I'll be able to get on-line and involved for awhile. I've been having problems with my internet connectivity, and the touchpad on my laptop has stopped working about half the time, so even when I can get on-line it's hit or miss on whether I can actually do anything. Please feel free to go on without me if you need to.

Lynora-Jill woke up with a start, not sure for a moment exactly where she was. Her own room. She breathed a sigh of relief and snuggled closer to JH. Her commune spell had taken a ridiculously long time, but then what else could she expect with a sunlamp as the focus? By the time she was done, JH had fallen asleep, and it had seemed like such a good idea to just curl up next to him and get some rest too. Just because she could go for days without sleep didn't mean that it was a good idea. Even though restoration could leave her body feeling well rested, her mind still felt tired after. In just a little while she would have to get up and tell the others what she had learned. But not just yet...

LJ hummed happily to herself as she showered. The hot water felt good after a morning 'workout'. There were some definite advantages to having a boyfriend made out of ceramic composite, she thought to herself with an impish grin as she sponged soap onto her skin.
Hey, honey, can you help me wash my back?
And that, gentlemen, is all the details you're going to get from me...;)

Sure...
And JH ain't tellin' either.
About the extended workout in the shower either.

Perish the thought. That would, after all, be telling... ;)

"So, when do we go over the top," Angel says as she sees Lynora come downstairs.
It's a little more complicated than I wish it were. I found two different locations, and I don't think attacking either spot is going to be an easy thing. Which do you want first, the difficult to access but easier to beat foe or the easy to get to almost certain death foe?

lynora-Jill |

Well, that would be the goddess's cult, or what's left of it. Feeling up to a field trip to the Abyss? They've got a small outpost there in a remote corner not being used by anyone else. It's some sort of storage facility. There are a few cultists, a couple fallen angels, and a mysterious figure that I can't get a clear picture of. The real threat there is whatever tech they've managed to accumulate. There's a good chance that the higher-ups will simply make a strategic retreat, but if you can take out their machines that will certainly help cut into their resources later on.
I was able to get a lot of information about them because of my...connections there. But the rest of our foes remain something of a mystery to me. All I know is that there's a lot of them and then some. They're in a place called the Palace of Skulls. I can give you directions, but I'm not sure we're ready for that kind of offensive yet.

Would their machines be at the same place? Should we attack them first to weaken the rest?

lynora-Jill |

Methinks we need to chip in and buy Patrick a case of NyQuil, to speed his recovery. Or maybe create a bunch of Chippendale avatars to work at Club Calistria. Alaina should like that.
Good idea :) (I'm not even sure which one I mean.)I'm sure Patrick could use the NyQuil and I bet the altar girls would appreciate an occasional break ;)

I'm not really sure how closely the two groups are allied, if they're working together at all. But I think that the machines being used by the goddess's cult would be in that storage facility. They don't have anywhere else they could put them. And yes, destroying those machines would weaken the cult considerably.

Well, AoV is always talking about the Rise of the Machines or something like that. Sounds like our first target.

All will become clear with time.

err...ahhh...eeek!
I swear I haven't been using Frat's Brut cologne!!!
I feel so cheap.....
And I know where all that 'future self' stuff comes from! You cyborg impersonating AoV.

LJ makes it back to her room before the tears start. She tried to tell herself that she was being foolish. JH hadn't done anything wrong. But the thought of him with someone else still hurt like a knife to the gut, even if it was supposed to happen years after she was dead. Also, not exactly a happy thought.
