Josh Sick--Possible Delays

Hey folks,

I've been down for the count since Wednesday with something 2 doctors and 2 nurse practitioners can't diagnose (wheeeeee) but hope to be back in action on Monday. Losing three days out of the development cycle is going to kill the schedule for the February scenarios in all likelihood. Expect them to be delayed--by how much, I don't know yet, but I'll make that analysis on Monday (I hope).

Also, please wait to resend proposals until Tuesday. I'm looking through them at home, but don't have the process in place that I do at work to reply and store them. So be patient with me on the "received" response.

Talk to you all again soon (and hopefully about Gen Con).

2/5

Sorry to hear that. Hope you get well soon.

Dark Archive

Healing vibes sent your way.

Liberty's Edge 2/5

Just remember to drink plenty of fluids and question people you've had recent contact with about their medical status.

4/5 RPG Superstar 2012

Get well soon!

Darn that Syphilis!

Spoiler:
Hopefully laughter is the best medicine ;)
Get well soon.

Get well Josh . . . I hope the diagnostic process yields better results soon (I say as I'm watching House . . . )

Scarab Sages 1/5

Hope you get well soon.

I nominate amyloidosis. I don't know what that means, but it's suggested in every third episode of House, so I suggest it for you.

My consulting bill will be on your desk awaiting your return.

Hope you feel better soon Josh.

Leeches!! Stick with the tried and true!

Liberty's Edge Contributor

Is it ich? They have drops for that. ('s all I got.)

I hope you feel better soon, Josh.

I swear I had nothing to do with your illness.

Spoiler:
Seriously, get well soon, Josh!

Judging by my "House" knowledge, my wife and I have determined it's one of the following:

Amyloidosis
Huntington's
Sarcoidosis
Rabies
Leprosy
Wilson's Disease
Lime Disease
Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis
Cushing's Disease
African Sleeping Sickness (African trypanosomiasis)
Addison's
Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura
Primary amoebic meningoencephalitis
The Plague
Tuberculoma
Delayed-onset CVID secondary to phenytoin-mediated Epstein-Barr virus infection

No, we don't watch a lot of "House." Or all of the reruns.

You know, now that I think about it, Ezren is kind like House, if House were a wizard. I wonder what the Golarion equivalent of vicodin is.

But definitely not lupus. it's never lupus.

Get well soon.

I hope not, because amyloidosis is the untreatable disease that author Robert Jordan died of in 2007, leaving his life's work, the Wheel of Time saga, unfinished.

Get well, Josh!

A good blood-letting followed by a pint of whiskey never hurt. You'll be back on your feet in no time. Heh.
Hope to get to meet you at Gen Con this year.

You didn't eat anything Logue sent you, did you? Like, a batch of mysterious cookies with a strange taste you couldn't quite place but was strangely familiar...?

Liberty's Edge 1/5

It seems like everybody's been sick the last two weeks. We had one player get our whole group sick. Made game nights...interesting.

Ah yes. Good ol' traditional chips with a sprinkle of Norwalk on games night.

It's blackscour. I'll send you some ironbloom mushrooms.

Liberty's Edge

It's NEVER Lupis.

Get better, Josh!

Hrmmph. Is this some excuse to skip your Monday night games sessions and write-ups?
I do not want to hear that Ezren has spent the session quacking like a penguin in the Crypt of the Everflame. I want to hear about action!
And details!

Less passive voice 'Josh is suffering from xyz', more 'Josh is making those microbes/bacteria/virus things darned sorry they ever tangled with his immune system!'

I insist you get better.
If you don't I'll send in an entry for PFS #29 & #30, even though you weren't planning to make those open call, and they will feature my gag villain Captain Olaf. (See gag villains thread, RPG Superstar, general discussion.)

Well hope you get better soon.

And I swear I will resist the temptation to resend the submissions until at least Tuesday.

I hope you're feeling better soon!

I remember the time when I had four doctors in a row fail to come up with an accurate diagnosis for me. The fifth doctor scheduled me for emergency surgery - and they diagnosed me two days later.

Medicine is far more art than science, sometimes.

Silver Crusade

Wotc most likely poisoned you. For coming up with much better rules and playable system.

I think we should find a cleric to cast remove disease.

Get well soon.

Scarab Sages

I vote that we put Josh in one of those big plastic bubbles, pump in fresh oxygen, and a sterile wireless notebook and let him work that way!

Feel better soon, Josh.

They say the fastest way to get rid of a virus is to give it to someone else. Just don't give it to other Paizo Staff. One delay is enough.

Get well soon. Your fans miss you.

Lycanthropy? That explains the 'ttiude but not the baldness.

Hereditary baldness trumps lycanthropy, natural or otherwise.

My baldness will kill all of you. 0.0

Same difference. Both will kill y'all in today's "I must look like I'm twenty even though I'm fifty" era.

From this Evidence *Camera catches speech and thoughts!* I think it is your Lycanthropy!

Nah... really, you are just a Kitten at heart.

Good.

Excellent.
I prescribe a Kormus Bell/Pyroclasm combo to get rid of those pesky swamps (unless one of those swamps is an Urborg ToY, in which case Stone Rain that one first).
