Sovereign Court RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32, 2010 Top 8

Was dropping off some books for sale at half-priced and found a beautiful condition first printing of Dark Reflections: Specters. Added it to my collection. :-)

Liberty's Edge

I love used bookstores. I've found two "grails" myself:

A hardback edition of Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

An original copy of the Traveller roleplaying game.

I was at Australia's CanCon this year, and came away with (I kid you not) 20 kilograms (or 44 pounds) of old 2nd edition books for around AUS$150. Most of these were in near-mint condition, having been read through once or twice, and most of the boxed sets had all of the pieces included (the dark Sun one, unfortunately, didn't have the cloth map).

I just wish I'd spent more there... I didn't want to "go crazy"... but I really should have just picked up the entire three or four piles (about a foot high each) and said "I'll take these".

Scarab Sages

I had to sell about that half much 2nd edition stuff while I was unemployed...got $200 bucks for them...

I did not sell my 1st ed Deities and Demigods with Cthulhu/Melnibonean mythos in that lot tho!!!

heh...
