Here is a proposal for the number of attacks each character has.
It would combat give some great new aspects if the attack values for each number of attacks would be different.
So far we have a fixed -5 for the secondary attack.
What if this value would be variable and can be modified by feats or class?
Consider a e.g. Ranger which has +8/+8 instead of +10/+5
Or a wizard wich has only a +10/+1 instead of +10/+5
Or a fighter which chooses to drop his secondary attack completly and has +13/+0 instead of +10/+15
In my opinion this would give character classes and combat some wonderful new facets.
