Percental Skillchecks for more variability

Here is a proposal for a skill system:

A percental skill (W100) system would be better than a D20 Skillsystem

- better probability distribution

- more options for each character

- the system was already used in the TSR Buck Rogers Game and in AD&D 2. Edition for Bards and Rogues. It has been proven that it works fine.

- You dont need any DCs. Its just a percentage check with boni or mali which is more intuitive.

disadvantage:

- it is not a D20 throw anymore

What do you think?


Personally I don't think it'd want to see percental skill system just for the fact that a tone of other games do it. Plus I like d20 because it reallites on 20 siders.

Don't get me wrong, the percental systems out there are really cool but then it'd beg the question why the whole game wasn't done i percental format.
