But not ranger AND scout, it's the same thing just a variant.
How are "scouts" much different than this?
What prevents a minor level dip in rogue?Rangers should go back to d8
Rangers dont get disable device, just locate and react to them.
Sure you can take the skill but you wont be as good.
Rangers cant sneak attack.
Pathfinder bascially took the rangers track ability and gave it everyone.
You can already cast a spell to findtraps.
None but a rogue can disarm a magical trap.
I think rogues should ADD class level TO disable device In ADDITION to it being a class skill (so they would be +3,+ rogue level over anyone else)
Ranger spells are lame anyway. Just plain get rid of them.

I'd like to see the archmage's powers hidden in high level class features of casting classes... What about giving to high level casters sono "high arcana/divine" powers, in a similar way rogues receive their high level abilities? They could also be feats...
Speaking about prcs:
-Elemental savant. Damage spell should improve their effectiveness.
-Virtuoso or similar. There has to be at least a bard's prc.
-Weapon master 3.0 or similar concept...the pinnacle for every high level weapon wielder or monk
-a decent master samurai
-a decent infiltrator, NOT an assassin

I would like to see something for a more serious and tough bard.
I was thinking of something along the lines of a military officer, like Patton, or Montgomery. Abilities would include lots of morale effects, mental control and the removal thereof, full access to weapons (and shields?), and perhaps some abilities to alter the appearance of troops and battlefields. I also see options for improved teamwork angles like Improved Aid Another, and the ability to use the highest skill modifier for the whole party.
Singing, dancing, and playing music would be gone, as would some of the more funky magic. "'Tasha's Hideous What?' Wipe that smile off your face soldier!" The chaotic alignment might have to go as well.
This could also appeal to paladins, clerics, and perhaps even monks.
