Hi, all... I'm getting ready to start a Mutants and Masterminds game, and part of the "prologue" will involve detention in and escape from an underground government base. Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find usable plans that might represent even part of such a facility? I can come up with something, but would much rather spend my time on fleshing our the rest of the adventure rather than the details of the base... I just know that my players are going to end up going in an odd direction, and I want to be able to have some plans in front of me when they do. :)

1. You could look around for one of those declassified missile silo facilities and put the detention cells in the launch chamber...
Captain Hurt: "Look I know you think that facility outside of town is a Missile Silo, but it aint. Its a Detention facility for high risk detainees."
2. Alternatively: Halliburton runs a Cargo Container Ship which is infact a Detention Centre in international waters...
Deek Waterson (Dock Worker): "We loaded some government cargo on the Halliburton containership 'Islandia' last month. The cargo containers were prisoner containment units. I recognised the design."

If your friendly local game store has a back-issue bin, check out Dungeon Magazine #96. It's from when they were bundling Dungeon and Polyhedron Magazine (god, I miss that). Issue 96 has the article on Genetech and includes a very well fleshed-out government base designed to contain and train mutant animals. Should be perfect.
That issue also contains layouts for a small, backwater Air Force Base, but probably not the kind you're looking for.
Asside from that, you might want to check out RPGnow.com for map sets. Urban Designs has a Naval Base PDF, but it's around $10 if I recall.
Good luck.

Thanks, guys!
Immora- I actually had that issue of Dungeon, but didn't realize that was in there. The Genetech map is perfect. I picked up the PDF from Paizo tonight so I'd have it in electronic format. The navy base PDF looks awesome, too- will likely pick that up, as well.
Yellowdingo- I was looking for more of a large underground facility (a currently-operated government base); that being said, I really like the cargo container ship. The characters will be trying to break out some friends from such a place in the near future. :)
