I have a group of three who are going to be starting second darkness later this week and would like to add 2-3 player to join. We will be using the beta rules which I am still going over so you will have to bear with me a bit. I will post the rules for this game soon but just trying to see if their is any interest. We were playing Zoomackulas's Flight of the Red Raven which stalled so we are moving on to this. I will take the first three only and then the rest will be put on the alt list.
The River into Darkness is only about a 1/4 of the way into it. Its a 4th level adventure module and once over I am planning on rolling them right into Crucible of Chaos hopefully. Playing is a Barbarian/Ranger, Druid and a Warlock. Currently in the middle of a battle so you would be starting out right into action. I'm already in one Second Darkness PBP, so I might be disqualified for already knowing how it starts, but I'd be interested in joining another.
I see a possible 1/2 Orc Monk, Sorcerer, Cleric/Warlock and Paladin/Rogue in your current players (although I'm not sure which three will come over of those four, and if they'll be playing the same characters...).
My favorite classes are Cleric and Druid, and I'd be happy to play either. I might even be persuaded to play a *nice* Cleric who can channel positive energy and cast healing spells. :)
As for what I can play, I have been wanting to try out the wizard class, but I have only played a Beta Cleric before. Therefore, I don't mind giving any of the classes a shot. I already have a few ideas for possible characters and already am excited to see how this game turns out.
Random Druid in profile. I used 20 point-buy, took some Traits and also a Pathfinder Society bonus Feat. I don't expect that you'll be using *both* the bonus feat and the traits, so I'll delete whichever one doesn't fit.
I can probably whip up a Cleric in short order if that would be preferred.

3.5 is correct and I have allowed most books to be used. 4th level jungle adventure. So far they got stranded in a town called Bloodcove in the Mwangi Expanse, took on a mission to make some gold, so they headed up river to help provide reinforcements to Nightfall Station owned by the Aspis Consortium. They are about half way there at a place called Whitebridge Station and have come under attack by local jungle elves. Read through the game thread to get more details. Let me know if you want to join so we can get you in the game!
I'll read through the game thread tonight a post my idea for a character tomorrow.
Alright. I finished reading through the game thread and I think that I will play a Human Cloistered Cleric of Irori (god of knowledge).
He'll be there both to collect/record knowledge of the Mwangi jungle and to test his mettle against the dangers of the famed jungle.
Also, how are we generating stats and hitpoints? Are we doing point buy for stats and max 1st level hitpoints?

Hello all, I have been trying to get in on a SD pbp game for some time but I keep missing the boat, if there are any available slots let me know; but unfortunately I will not be able to participate from December 26 to January 1.
