Okay, I decided not to go to the bank and do the grocery shopping this morning to put a little effort into this. Fortunately, my wife's a gamer, so she'll understand.
Unfortunately, the formatting is lost on these boards, so I'm going to lay it out differently. Hope this works.

I've tried to keep it as close to the original as possible, to prove how easy this can be. By dropping the bonus to save vs. thrown rocks, and the BAB and to hit bonuses, there's enough room for odd level caster level increases. That wasn't quite enough, on a second glance, so the non-caster version got a boost to damage too.
I'm not 100% sure what to do about HD. The best solution would either be d8 all round, or d10 for the non-casters, d6 (Pathfinder, d4 3.x) for the casters. I'd be inclined to ask my players which they would prefer. After all, they're the ones who are going to be using this over me, as DM. And I know I can trust my players to pick something because it's right, not just because it's bigger for them.
I'm going to revisit this PrC in full, when we start up gaming again. I may have different ideas by then, but, either way, it's a great class. Thanks again for sharing!
Peace,
tfad

To combine two words that I’m fed up with hearing, I present you with the Prestige Fallacy, which goes something like this: Prestige classes are the secret to a satisfying D&D experience. Want to make your character unique? Don’t bother thinking creatively, just take a PrC!
I agree, prestige classes should be prestigious. Which means they should also be rare. How you doing Luke?

'Dumple' just sounded too much like a halfling name, like 'dumpling'...
Given the names, I thought it was the best one. I agree, it makes a better halfing name. Perhaps the dwarf was really a cross dresser.
NO WAIT! NO SUCH CONTAMINATION OF GREYHAWK.
Ok, maybe his parents just hated him.
You call that contamination?
Huh huh.
Huh.
Hahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!!!Nothing to see here...
What? The Free City of Greyhawk DOESN'T have a street named Cedar Springs???
